The Duo greeted Fans earlier today at the Hockey Hall of Fame, before heading to the Bell Media Building. A Red Carpet Premiere followed at Scotiabank Theatre where they worked the Press Line, in addition to signing several Autographs for Fans. As part of the whirlwind Tour, they next are off to Philadelphia!

The Campaign opens in theatres Friday, August 10, 2012 via Warner Bros.

Although he originally was slated as a Guest Performer for One Direction's North American Tour, British Pop Star Olly Murs is making the most of his first Toronto visit... and the Fans are loving it!  The charismatic The X Factor First-Runner-Up already has reached Double-Platinum sales in his native UK where he has released two Discs already, but he just now is making his Debut stateside.

Showing a generous display of Fan Appreciation, Murs has been snapping Photos and signing Autographs for Fans outside his Hotel, inviting Fans to tag along with him to check-out some fine Establishments like The Loose Moose and Hooters. He Tweets, "It had to be done", regarding his visit to the latter - know most for its sexy Waitresses.

Fans waiting outside the Bell Media Building for him yesterday received the sweetest surprise as he walked-up to the Gate, posing for Photos with ecstastic Fans, before and after his Soundcheck for MuchMusic's New.Music.Live. Murs also made a visit to CityTV's Breakfast Television, chatting with the equally charming Dina Pugliese.

It was Panem-onium in Toronto today as the Hunks of The Hunger Games kicked-off the Canadian leg of the Blockbuster's Press Tour. Stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Vancouver's Alexander Ludwig who play Peeta, Gale and Cato respectively in the first installment of what looks to be a massively successful Franchise, made stop-offs  at CTV's The Marilyn Denis Show and MuchMusic's New.Music.Live.  This evening, they graced the Red Carpet at Scotiabank Theatre for the Canadian Premiere of the Film.

On The Marilyn Denis Show, we learned that the Boys bonded off-set, experimenting on some Dubstep Music and they had nothing but praise for their Co-Star Jennifer Lawrence who they claim is actually really funny.  Ludwig, who plays the role of the Villain feels his Character is misunderstood and revealed that he actually gained over 40 lbs for the role, eating much Junk Food.  Always remembering his humble beginnings, Hutcherson revealed also that he'll soon be hosting a Hometown Screening of The Hunger Games back in Kentucky where hails from.

CODY SIMPSON IN TORONTO FOR "COAST TO COAST" EP

It is always amazing to see someone you support do well and that would be the case with Australian Teen Pop Sensation Cody Simpson. After meeting the talented Singer back in June when he visited Toronto for the MuchMusic Video Awards, I was left with such a positive impression of the 14 year-old. He is humble and diplomatic and it would appear his Parents really taught him well. Barely going noticed then, it is highly doubtful now that he could avoid any Teen Girl's Radar now if he were to say, go shopping at Eaton Centre.

Simpson visited MuchMusic today for New.Music.Live and lined along both Richmond and John Street were hoards of Teen Girls waiting to get their chance to see the Idol in-person.  Shrieks heard outside were deafening.  If you thought that was crazy, another 500 Fans could be seen lining-up at Chapters for a Meet & Greet with Simpson.  Those same Fans also had to line-up early yesterday morning for Wristbands for tonight's Event.

Several measures were taken to ensure Publicity was controlled including draping the Autograph Signing Area so that no Photographs could be taken by those without Wristbands.  Above this, the selling of Simpson's Coast to Coast EP at just $5.00, ensured that most Fans who wanted a chance to meet him had their opportunity.  And there were many.  This, plus the visible presence of Crowds at the intersection of Richmond x John with CTV Camera Crews ready, convincingly said that we are in the presence of a Superstar. Surely Cody Simpson was "on the minds" (pardon the pun) of many an  interested Onlooker asking what the commotion was all about.

COLDPLAY TO PLAY MUCHMUSIC'S "NEW.MUSIC.LIVE" IN TORONTO

Who would've guessed?  MuchMusic announced today that Coldplay will be visiting MuchMusic for a special edition of New.Music.Live which will see the Grammy Award-winning and 50-million copies-selling Band perform live at the Studio Parking Lot.  The set date for the engagement is Wednesday, September 21, 2011.

The Band is expected to perform new material from their new Disc, Mylo Xyloto which hits stores October 24, 2011.

JORDIN SPARKS AT MUCHMUSIC'S NEW.MUSIC.LIVE WITH DOG MAGGIE

American Idol Season Six Winner Jordin Sparks visited MuchMusic's New.Music.Live yesterday to say "hi" to Fans and promote forthcoming Disc titled tentatively 3x or 3.  Although the Sony Music Canada release isn't due til this Fall, First Single I Am Woman already has hit the Airwaves and debuted on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Chart at number 82.

Sparks is currently on-tour with NKOTBSB, the Supergroup of New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys, who are in Toronto to perform two sold-out Shows at Air Canada Centre, Wednesday and Thursday.

During the Broadcast, Sparks at the request of one MuchMusic Staff Member, sang her Hit No Air minus Chris Brown before the audience.  She was impressed thoroughly with his vocal abilities!  The bubbly Songstress brought along her adorable Bichon Frise Maggie to the Show, and the adorable Lap Dog was on her best behaviour despite the crowding and hot temperatures.  In fact, shortly after Sparks had left the premises, one Girl suffered a Seizure possibly due to Overheating, with an Emergency Response Crew arriving quickly.  Fans in the audience were urged not to take Photographs.

DONALD GLOVER IN TORONTO FOR CHILDISH GAMBINO IAMDONALD TOUR

28 year-old Actor/Writer/Rapper/DJ Donald Glover received a warm welcome to our "community" today on his visit to Toronto. The Star of NBC's Community in which he plays Football Player Troy Barnes is enjoying a bit of downtime right now, focusing on his Music - the main reason for his visit to the City.  As a Rapper, he goes by the name Childish Gambino.

Due to being under-the-weather, Glover unfortunately had to cancel an appearance on CBC's Q Radio this morning with Jian Ghomeshi, which later was announced to be postponed until tomorrow.  Despite being ill, Glover was undeterred from pleasing his avid Toronto Fans.  He still went ahead to play a sold-out show at the historic Opera House this evening as part of his IAMDONALD Tour, performing selections from his earlier repertoire and latest untitled EP, released this March.

NICHOLAS BRAUN, AIMEE TEEGARDEN & JONATHAN KELTZ IN TORONTO FOR DISNEY'S "PROM"

Canada, are you ready for PROM Fever?  With Disney's PROM hitting theatres this Friday, April 28, 2011, three of its biggest stars have officially descended upon Toronto.  Aimee Teegarden and Nicholas Braun flew in from Los Angeles today for their Media Blitz in the City, eager and excited.  Braun exclaimed, "Welcome to Toronto!" upon exiting his SUV. Greeted by Fans, he smiled and said "Well, that's a warm welcome. Thanks for waiting for me!".

Among the Cast's appearances tomorrow are a visit to MuchMusic's New.Music.Live and an exciting appearance at the Toronto Premiere for PROM in the evening.  Joining Teegarden and Braun is Toronto's v. own Jonathan Keltz. Although Thomas McDonnell was scheduled originally to arrive for Press today, unfortunately he fell ill and was unable to make it.  Regardless, many will be thrilled to hear that Braun has made it in.

ASHLEY TISDALE IN TORONTO TO PROMOTE "SHARPAY'S FABULOUS ADVENTURE"

One of the reasons I've held-off on posting this Photo for so long is that I never really felt quite good about  posting it. I normally post Photos I have taken with Celebrities on the condition they agree to having taken it and that they actually wanted to do it.  One hot Summer Day last June, I ran into Ashley Tisdale and Co-star Austin Butler in Yorkville while she was in-town filming her new Disney DVD Movie Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure.  

Along with a couple Fans, I asked kindly for a Photo as they headed across-the-road to Dinner at Hazelton Hotel's ONE Restaurant.  Tisdale gave off an absolutely annoyed expression, but magically when the Camera snapped, the Photo has her looking absolutely pleased - a unique and rare ability.   Butler was exemplary, I must clarify. What's odd is that a number of other Fans who met her in the City last Summer have repeated similar sentiments.  Miley Cyrus' older Brother Trace certainly feels the same in the v. least, famously Tweeting last June, "I’ve met and know a bunch of Celebrities. By for the worst person I’ve met in my life is Ashley Tisdale". I only tell it as I see it,  so please don't shoot me.

MOHOMBI MAKES HIS CANADIAN DEBUT AT MUCHMUSIC | AUTOGRAPH GIVEAWAY

“Mo who?”. That’s the initial reaction I get when I recite the name Mohombi. The Dancehall-Pop Singer who was born in Senegal  but exported to Sweden at the age of 14, is ready to launch his Music career stateside after finding success in his native Sweden. He formerly belonged to a Hip-Hop group named Avalon before going solo.

Mohombi currently is on tour with Latin Heartthrob Enrique Iglesias and made a stop-off in Toronto this afternoon, after garnering raves at their Bell Centre show in Montreal last night. The Singer-Songwriter who stands a towering 6'4, is now promoting debut Single Bumpy Ride, which has gone on to reach Gold sales in Canada, peaking on the Canadian Billboard Hot 100 at number 32.  Not bad considering he's done little promotion.  Today in fact, was his first time in Toronto.

The Single is produced by none other than the Man responsible for Lady Gaga’s biggest hits, RedOne, who shares in Mohombi’s part-Swedish identity. Upcoming debut Disc Movemeant (no, that is not a typo) is slated tentatively for an April 2011 release with the distinction of being the first release from RedOne’s 2101 Records, which together with Cherrytree and Interscope Records, will see its release through Universal Music.

I was invited by the wonderful Team at Universal Music Canada to sit-in on Mohombi's first-ever MuchMusic New.Music.Live. appearance. The outgoing 24 year-old's day didn't start off ideally, I was told.  With a v. tightly-scheduled afternoon which included Radio, Rehearsals and two back-to-back performances, Mohombi and his Manager J Wells weren't left with much time to worry about the fact that his lost Luggage which was routed in error to Chicago instead of Toronto.  And early tomorrow, they are headed on a trans-Atlantic journey to London.  No time to shop even for some replacement clothing.
