I woke up this morning to a call from my Concierge who notified me that there had been a ginormous delivery of vitaminwater and smartwater  in my lobby for me.  And I want you all to discover the fabulousness of these beverages.

For those of you who have never tried vitaminwater, it's a fantastic alternative to Soft Drinks.  It's lower in sugar and calories than Pop and above this, it's an easy way for you to meet your Daily Recommended Vitamin Intake.  Although vitaminwater comes in many different fruity flavours, my favourite is definitely XXX (Pomegranate, Acai & Blueberry), with Restore (Fruit Punch) coming a close second.  True, a bottle can sometimes range from $2 to $4, but you cannot put a price on your health and besides, don't most of us spend that on a Coffee or a Latte anyway?

smartwater is something you might not have tried yet.  Essentially, it is Vapor-Distilled Water with added Elecrolytes to keep you hydrated.  It comes in 1 litre bottles to help you meet your "eight glasses a day".  It comes gorgeously bottled and tastes on-par with the likes of Evian.

PRODUCT WATCH: ELLEN DEGENERES FOR VITAMINWATER ZERO

 

There aren't many television shows that I follow religiously, but thanks to Timeshifting on digital television, I can catch The Ellen DeGeneres Show now as I'm having my dinner.  DeGeneres who has very publicly proclaimed her love for Vitaminwater, has been selected as the face for their new zero calorie line of beverages - Vitaminwater Zero.  These adorable photos just surfaced today and they will be appearing on upcoming ads for the drink.

Product placements for Vitaminwater have been popping up everywhere of late including American Idol on which we all know DeGeneres is now a judge, replacing the show's traditional beverage of choice Coca Cola. The apple never falls far from the tree though as Glacéau's Vitaminwater is actually subsidiary of Coca Cola.  Forget Perez Hilton, the real "Queen of all Media" is Ellen DeGeneres.  She's everywhere.
