Donald Trump & Family in Toronto - April 2012

Joining this important day in celebration of their famous Father Donald Trump, Siblings Ivanka, Eric and Donald Jr. arrived in Toronto this morning to officially launch this latest über-glamorous Hotel and Residence proudly donning their Family name.  Standing 900 ft. Trump International Hotel and Tower Toronto is now known as the tallest Residential Building in Canada, having opened its doors to the Public this January. Today marked its proper opening with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford pulled-out all the stops, hiring a Bagpiper for their Grand Entrance at 10:00 AM, formally greeting the Family.  During the Festivities, Father Trump was presented with a Toronto Maple Leafs Jersey, telling Media that this Toronto Building ranks among his own personal favourites.

For those curious, the powerful Business Magnate, Author and Television Personality's current net worth is pegged at $2 billion. A Residential Suite currently is priced up to $6.3 million, while a Presidential Suite at the Hotel can cost up to $20k a night. I wonder if they'll accept post-dated cheques.  I myself have been to the Building a few times and it is absolutely elegant. Perhaps the City's most beautiful Hotel?

BETHENNY FRANKEL IN TORONTO FOR "SKINNYGIRL MARGARITAS"

You might remember Reality Television Star Bethenny Frankel from shows such as The Apprentice: Martha Stewart and The Real Housewives of New York City, but Margaritas? Yes. Frankel's Skinnygirl Margarita line, one of her many Health Food ventures, is now available in Canada and our v. own LCBO Stores are now carrying them due to popular demand.

The Daughter of famed Thoroughbred Horse Trainer Robert Frankel flew into Toronto late Thursday night from New York City to do a round of Press at the Summerhill Flagship LCBO Store in Rosedale today.  Later in the day she met with Fans, signing bottles of the Liquor in-store.

I caught Frankel on her way out of Toronto to Vancouver this evening and she was absolutely amazing to stop and pose for Photographs despite being in a rush.  I noticed her struggling a bit to do some last minute luggage re-arranging, but with a little help from her Friends, she got it done!  She even gifted her Driver with a couple signed Items after insisting.  Aww!

IVANKA TRUMP IN TORONTO FOR MAGNUM ICE CREAM

Being eight-months pregnant didn't stop Heiress/TV Personality/Author/Model and Entrepreneur Ivanka Trump from beginning her Maternity Leave.  Not yet at least anyway!  

Trump arrived in Toronto Tuesday night from New York City to help launch Dutch/UK Giant Magnum Ice Cream, in Canada.  The line of Ice Cream Bars has been a success overseas since the '80s, launching a new flavour annually.  Myself having tried an Magnum Almond Bar for the first time early April, was instantly impressed!  Surely it will give Haagen Dazs a run for their money.

A Media Bash was held at Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto on Wednesday night, with attendees enthused about seeing a v. pregnant Trump take the stage.  The following day, she woke up bright and early for her busy Toronto Press Tour which had her visiting CTV's The Marilyn Denis Show and CityTV's Breakfast Television and CityLine, among Print Press with Hello! Canada and Flare.

In a surprising move, Magnum Ice Cream has chosen Ivanka Trump as their new Spokeswoman. The Model/Businesswoman/Author who sometimes appears on her Father Donald’s Reality Series The Apprentice, will be in Toronto on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 to launch the line of Ice Cream Bars locally.  Donald serves the "fired", Ivanka serves the "ice".

Although seemingly an odd pairing of flavours, UK/Dutch-owned Magnum Ice Cream has prior chosen sexy Celebrities like Benicio del Toro and Rachel Bilson as part of their Campaigns. Bilson only recently teamed-up with Designer Karl Lagerfeld on a series of Short Films for the Ice Cream Maker, which are slated for an unveiling late April.

The line of luxury Ice Cream Bars has been a hit overseas, launching in 1987 and has every year since 1989 introduced a new scintillating flavour to the Public.
