Wizard World Toronto Comic Con 2012 kicked-off today at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Comic Book Fans by-the-thousands had an absolute thrill-ride, meeting their Idols at the Venue. Vendors, Artists, Creators and Stars of Television and Film united, drawing some much-needed festivity and fanfare to our City. Among those drawing-in their Admirers out in droves were: Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap, Star Trek: Enterprise), Dean Stockwell (Quantum Leap), Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager), Amy Acker (The Cabin in the Woods, Angel, Alias), The Edge (WWE Hall of Famer), Colin Ferguson (Eureka), Sam Worthington (Being Human, Superman Returns), Sean Maher (Make it or Break It) and gorgeous real-life Couple Paul Wesley & Torrey DeVitto (The Vampire Diaries).
With Autograph and Photo Ops being offered-up between the $25-$85 mark, Fans were given opportunities to chat with some of their Idols, while others had opportunities to purchase one-of-a-kind commissioned pieces from some of their favourite Artists. Plenty of free Swag could be found at the Alliance Films Booth - a replica Cabin of that seen in Drew Goddard's The Cabin in the Woods which now is in theatres.

Conference Rooms also were booked-out for Fans to let-out some of their most burning questions and by far drawing the largest crowd today were the Combo of Wesley and DeVitto who reflected on some of their experiences at work - including the latter's stint on ultra-hot Series, Pretty Little Liars. Wesley admits when he was younger, he asked Tony Danza for an Autograph but unfortunately was turned-down. We learned also that DeVitto once was asked by a Fan to sign their backside at McDonald's! The Couple who arrived from Los Angeles Friday night (along with Funnywoman Joan Rivers), were fearful for their lives after their Air Canada flight was struck by lightning. Thankfully they got here safe and sound, living to tell Fans their stories. A couple sharp-eyed Fans were lucky enough the spot the Couple at a Starbucks on King x John before all the madness, just after their arrival in Toronto.
Also a hit with Fans were the Cast of Space Network's Being Human: Sam Huntington, Meaghan Rath and Sam Witwer, who consistently drew long lines at their Booth, thoughtfully offering Photo Ops at reasonable prices and the option for Fans to take Photos on their own Cameras.
