NICOLE APPLETON & LIAM GALLAGHER IN TORONTO FOR CBC'S "COVER ME CANADA"

Nicole Appleton & Mr. Will-W.

You might only really know her as the Host of CBC's Cover Me Canada, but I've long been a Fan of Canadian-born, American-raised and British-based Pop Star Nicole Appleton, one-quarter of one of the biggest Girl Groups to come out of the UK, All Saints.

I owned everything All Saints, known best as an edgier answer to the Spice Girls with their 1997 hit Never Ever.  I had all their CD Singles, a VHS Video Collection, a Remix CD, all their Albums and even a Reunion Album, Studio 1 - all imported from the UK.  And oh yes, I also supported their Solo Discs too!

JUDGES ANNOUNCED FOR CBC SINGING REALITY SHOW "COVER ME"

Jordan Knight in Toronto - March 2011

Just one of a slew of Canadian singing Reality Shows to arrive, CBC’s Cover Me perhaps boasts the most accomplished panel of Judges yet. It was announced earlier today that the Program will feature Judges, Deborah Cox, Jordan Knight (New Kids on the Block) and also Mega-Producer, Ron Fair (Christina Aguilera, Pussycat Dolls).

Premiering Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 9:00 PM EST, the Series will be hosted by former All Saints member Nicole Appleton (!!!). Winners will be battling for a $100,000 CAN prize and also a Recording Contract with Universal Music Canada.

And for those of you in Toronto wondering why Oasis' Liam Gallagher is in-town right now, well that would explain it!  Gallagher is married to Appleton and together they have a ten year-old Son, Gene.
