Fans of Marvel's The Avengers will walk away remembering one brand and one brand only, Acura. Having partnered with Marvel to unveil their most exciting Vehicles in a slew of their forthcoming Superhero Flicks, the Automaker is aiming right at the hearts of Fans. Their focus is on the emotional experience and connection that comes with driving an Acura Vehicle - versus seeing the relationship being only about Person and Vehicle.

In the final scene of the record-breaking Blockbuster, many will have vivid recollection of Iron Man, Tony Stark driving off in a gorgeous red Acura NSX Roadster - currently only a Concept Car but available to the Public some time in 2015. And who could forget the RDX, the handy and practical SUVs which the valiant Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. chose as their preferred method of transport in helping save the World of ruthless Loki and his Army?

2012 SUPER BOWL TV SPOTS PREVIEW

Jerry Seinfeld's 2012 Acura NSX Super Bowl TV Spot

I know little about Football, but I know always to be excited for those Super Bowl Commercials which surface right around now.  Many already have surfaced online, although surely many participating companies have a few more over-the-top tricks up their sleeves for Sunday night. Already, there are a number of standouts already this year including Jerry Seinfeld's TV Spot for Acura NSX which sees him try to bribe his way up the Waiting List; Jay Leno even pops by right at the end!

Coincidentally, another Funnyman Will Arnett - who along with Seinfeld will be coming to Toronto in April for Toronto East General Hospital - brings out a few laughs in an Ad for online streaming website, Hulu too.  Matthew Broderick surely will bring-out a few smiles in reprising his famed Ferris Bueller role, taking a day off in his Honda CRV - the Ad even has him singing in Chinese!

Without any shortage of Star Power, H&M also unveils their David Beckham Bodywear Collection TV Spot, although I'm uncertain whether or not stores will sell-out by the time it airs this Sunday since it is to be released this Thursday.  Supermodel Adriana Lima also will be appearing in an Ad for Teleflora, although this has yet to surface online.

LOVE @ FIRST DRIVE

So I got my Acura ZDX today, which I will be Test-Driving throughout TIFF 2011... and despite being a bit terrified at all the sophisticated technology, all went well!  Yes, I did accidentally press that PANIC Button at first, causing a series of loud honks to go off, but as soon as the wheels were in motion, I fell in love!  

This Car is so brilliant that you can play DVDs and also a built-in Camera can give you a clear perspective on-screen while you're in Reverse Mode.  How cool is that?  You don't even have to plug your Key into the ignition for it to start!  Amaze.

Needless to say I'm in love.  In love with the cushy Leather Seats, the Moon Roof, the amazing Stereo System.  I won't want to give it back when my time's up!  LOL  

Despite little sleep this evening, I'm up and at 'em again this morning and ready for the second day of TIFF 2011!  Are  you ready for more, Mavenati?

GETTING AROUND AT TIFF 2011

Earlier this week I received word that I would be driving an Acura for my Mr. Will-W.:Pop Maven TIFF 2011 Adventures.  Was I ever thrilled!  I'm proud to say that I was selected among a limited number of Press to Test Drive one of their new vehicles, providing my mode of Transportation from Premiere to Celebrity Sighting to Party this year.  This of course is a blessing as every second counts during the most hectic ten days of the year for me.  And why not do it all in Style?

Will post a Photo of the Ride later this week when I get the Keys!  V. excited.
