It's Sex & the City ...Junior. As many of us know, a Television Pilot for The Carrie Diaries is now in- development, based upon the books of the same name by Candace Bushnell.
Highlighting Sex & the City Heroine (made famous by Sarah Jessica Parker) Carrie Bradshaw's days as a High School Senior during the early '80s, casting currently is underway for the TV Adaptation. Confirmed so far are the promising 18-year-old AnnaSophia Robb (Because of Winn-Dixie, Soul Surfer) as Carrie, Toronto's own Ellen Wong (no relation, although we have met!) as Carrie's BFF Jill. Now also, Austin Butler who in addition to seeing High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens, has now been cast as a Heartthrob named Sebastian Kydd; the object of Carrie's affections.
