Danny Glover & Mr. Will-W.
Toronto was all about the Kids today with Air Canada Centre hosting the World's largest Youth Empowerment Event, Free the Children's We Day.  Among the Highlights at the Event Co-hosted by Toronto's own Nina Dobrev and Pop Sensation Joe Jonas, was a generous donation from Nelly Furtado of $1 million to aid girls in Kenya, the Middle East and North Africa.  Whoa, Nelly!

Also in attendance at the Event organized by Free the Children Co-founders/Brothers Craig and Marc Kielburger, were the likes of Nikki Yanofsky, City and Colour, Neverest, Shawn Desman, Kardinal Offishall and Award-winning Actor/Humanitarian Danny GloverGlover told the audience of 18,000 Youth, "No matter what the cause, one person can make a difference. One person can inspire another person who will in turn inspire yet another person - all over the world, no matter their age, race or nationality.".

I caught Glover on his way out of a Reception for We Day and he was amazing enough to stop for a Photo with me, absolutely chilled-out and in no rush at the Keg Mansion. This of course is a great honour as I've long admired his work in many of my favourites, The Colour Purple, Dreamgirls, Lethal Weapon and The Royal Tenenbaums and he's actually got a bit of a swagger going on, I must admit!
