This is absolutely terrible news. Singer/Songwriter Gavin Degraw was attacked by a group of Assailants early Sunday in New York City's East Village. Although the identities of the male Attackers are unknown, Degraw is right now still under-observation. He currently is on-tour with Maroon 5 and Train in support of his next Album, Sweeter, to be released September 20, 2011.
I originally was scheduled to interview Degraw on August 23, 2011 here in Toronto but can only hope that he recovers soon from this senseless act and takes the time to get himself back to a positive place. Send your positive thoughts to him on Twitter here.
