Sex & the City's Jason Lewis arrived in Toronto Sunday to promote his latest Film by Canadian Director Warren P. Sonoda. Filmed in Toronto, Textuality is a Romantic Comedy which has a Man and a Woman trying to enter a relationship, while at the same time struggling to rid themselves of their prior relationships maintained through their Blackberries.
The Film stars Lewis along with Vancouver's v. own Carly Pope and another Canadian talent, Eric McCormack of Will & Grace. With two full days of Press lined-up including stop-offs at CityTV's Breakfast Television, CHUM-FM's Mornings with Roger, Marilyn & Darren, CTV's The Marilyn Denis Show and Entertainment Tonight Canada, a Red Carpet Premiere is slated for tonight (Tuesday) at the TIFF Bell Lightbox.

Catching both Pope and Lewis out and about tonight enjoying the City, I learned that Lewis actually will be in-town until Wednesday for the Premiere of his Friend Woody Harrelson's Play Bullet for Adolf, slated for an engagement at University of Toronto's Hart House Theatre. Lewis tells me, "I just saw a Dress Rehearsal for the Play earlier and loved it. Thank God it was good because I hate having to lie to a Friend!", he joked.
Both Pope and Lewis were sweet enough to stop and pose for Photos. Lewis even gave one lucky Female Fan a kiss on her hand, before hugging her and then lifting her up off the ground, causing her to squeal with excitement. Enough to make Samantha Jones burst into a jealous fit and throw a Melon at a Sliding Door. They said he was a Ladies' Man....
Textuality opens in Canadian theatres Friday, April 22, 2011 via eOne Films.
