JAMES DENTON OF "DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES" IN TORONTO FOR "THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW"

Desperate Housewives hunk James Denton, who plays the role of Mike Delfino on the popular ABC series, flew in from Los Angeles last night to do a round of Press in Toronto today. The appearance is one of few Torontonians have seen from the series' cast members. Eva Longoria was the latest to visit the City this past September.

Starting off with an appearance on CHUM-FM's Morning Show with Roger, Darren and Marilyn, the late-blooming Actors has interviews slated among others, with TV Guide and The Marilyn Denis Show, which premieres today on CTV.

After finishing his radio interview earlier than scheduled, Denton could be seen dressed in a crisp suit, crossing an indoor bridge from CHUM-FM to CTV where he threw a quick wave to Fans. Signaling that he had to head over to his next interview, he gestured with regret that he was unable to come outside, pressing himself up against the window before waving and heading off with his Publicist.

Denton is the first-ever scheduled guest on The Marilyn Denis Show, hosted by popular Toronto radio personality Marilyn Denis. After having built-up a following since first appearing on CHUM-FM in 1986, Denis went on to host CityTV's Cityline. Structual changes which came with CTV Globemedia buying CHUM-FM, saw Denis going back that radio station when CityTV was purchased by Rogers Communications in 2008. For many, Denis' return to television (this time nationally) has been long awaited.

Denton is rumoured to be starring in 2011 Feature The Book of Matthew alongside Patrick Wilson, Rainn Wilson and Peter Krause. For those who missed him on the 10 AM airing of The Marilyn Denis Show, he can be seen again on a re-airing at 2 PM EST.
