ENRIQUE IGLESIAS IN TORONTO AT CHUM-FM (MORE PICS)

After causing a bit of chaos at Eaton Centre in Toronto yesterday at his Meet & Greet, Enrique Iglesias did another round of promotion today, focusing primarily on Radio for his new album Euphoria.  After a late night, Iglesias got up bright and early for an appearance on 104.5 CHUM FM's Morning Show with Roger, Rick and Marilyn, where I caught him along with a couple other fans who just couldn't get enough of him yesterday.

Iglesias arrived around 8:10 AM with Starbucks in-hand, promising to come out to greet after he finished his interview of the widely-heard program and he did just that, signing and personalizing anything thrown his way and posing one-on-one with each of us.  Wonderful.  Miraculously he was able to trek all the way across the City to Z103.5 FM in the west-end for another interview right after.

He was convinced that I am Filipino and this was our conversation (E denotes Enrique, W denotes Mr. Will-W.):

E: Hey!  Are you Filipino?
W: Unfortunately not.  But I get that a lot.
E: What are you?
W: Chinese.
E: Really?  You look Filipino.
W: Well, us Asians all do look alike!
E: You know I'm half-Filipino, right?
W: Of course!  I did my research. But can you actually speak?
E: Tagalog (the primarily language of The Philippines)?  No, man.
W: Well yeah, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard for you - there's so many similarities between Tagalog and Spanish.  Anyway, it's really nice to properly meet you!
E: Yes, what's your name?

And so he personalized his Enrique album for me and we took our coveted photo.  Love.  Next on Iglesias' promotional itinerary is a trip to Mexico next week.
