Here we see Kristen Stewart undergo her greatest Transformation yet in the Series as their family is threatened by false allegations which could destroy them. The powerful Volturi are out for blood, pardon the pun.

STARLETS GRACE RED CARPET AT 2012 MET BALL

The Schiaparellli and Prada: Impossibly Conversations Costume Institute Gala was held tonight in New York City at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's bringing together Fashion, Art and Starlets on the Red Carpet. Unlike many other Red Carpets throughout the year, this Evening lauds Fashion risks. It's not only about being glamorous, it's about making a statement and being bold.

After perusing some of the beautiful choices made tonight, I must say I am most in-love with Amy Adams in Giambattista Valli Couture. Pure, classic elegance.  Emma Stone never disappoints and looked super-cute in a short Lanvin Number - a proud display of red. Ginnifer Goodwin has hit her best stride at last, rocking her Pixie Cut and a tangerine Monique Lhuillier Gown.  Hilary Swank looked absolutely stunning in  a red Michael Kors Piece, showing us an even softer side of her than ever before; classic Hollywood.  Dakota Fanning also not only looked perfect, but age-appropriate in Louis Vuitton.  Amaze.

Tonight's Gala was chaired by Vogue Editor Anna Wintour, Actress Carey Mulligan and Designer Miuccia Prada.

ELIZABETH OLSEN, DAKOTA FANNING & ANTON YELCHIN TO STAR IN "VERY GOOD GIRLS"

Deadline reports that Elizabeth Olsen, Dakota Fanning and Anton Yelchin are circling the Drama Very Good Girls, to be helmed by Naomi Foner - Mother of Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal. The Film centers around two Best Friends who after graduating High School, are determined to lose their Virginity that Summer. The situation becomes complicated as both Girls are attracted to the same Guy and it is said that both become "more Women than Girls" out of it all. Juicy.  I'm confident this one will be amaze already with its superb casting.

Filming begins this Summer in New York.

THE 2011 MET GALA - RED CARPET VICTRESSES

One of my favourite events of the year to creep is the the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art's Costume Institute Gala and the Ladies came out in full force again this year.  The Gala this year features the Exhibition, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, honouring the late Designer whose Successor Sarah Burton has had Fashionistas in a fury uniformly with Kate Middleton's Grace Kelly-inspired Wedding Dress.

Jennifer Hudson flaunted that new Body in Oscar de la Renta.  Jennifer Lopez stunned in Gucci.  Blake Lively shocked in Chanel.  Dakota Fanning was cute in Valentino. Salma Hayek was flawless in Alexander McQueen.  Madonna was demure in Stella McCartney. Both Sofia Vergara and Renée Zellweger were perfection in Carolina Herrera.

"W" MAGAZINE'S BEST PERFORMANCES OF THE YEAR PORTRAITS

I quite literally screamed when I saw these Photos.  Lynn Hirschenberg sits down with  the major Oscar contenders of 2011 in the February issue of W Magazine with stunning Photography by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.  The Photos are astounding.  

Interestingly we learn that my new favourite Natalie Portman is a huge fan of Dirty Dancing admitting, "I always loved Penny, probably because I was really like Baby. I was a Jewish girl from a Jewish family, so of course I liked the tall, skinny blond girl.”

Jeff Bridges reveals shockingly that he is a huge fan of the quirky Gay-themed Comedy Chuck & Buck, telling Hirschenberg, "I thought the best performance of the last decade was Mike White in Chuck & Buck.  I dug that performance."

REVIEW: THE RUNAWAYS

The Runaways is every bit as fearless as a rock 'n' roll film should be.  Music Video-turned-Film director Floria Sigismondi has directed some of the most influencial icons of our time: Christina Aguilera, Björk, David Bowie, The Cure, Sheryl Crow and Marilyn Manson, to name a few.  The Toronto-based director's signature shaky camera work has won her accolades, setting an artistic precedent.  Her latest effort centers around the rise of '70s teen all-girl rock band The Runaways, headed by sex kitten Cherie Currie (Dakota Fanning) and now-rock icon Joan Jett (Kristen Stewart).  

The band was guided under the tutelage of record producer Kim Crowley (Michael Shannon) whose relentless drive to capitalize from the rock 'n' roll angst he instilled in the girls  brought them to meteoric success around the world, while at the same time tearing the girls apart.  He encourages them to "think with their cocks".  Currie is hand-picked by Crowley as The Runaways' lead singer based on her Brigitte Bardot-like looks.  Jett is the true heart and soul of the group with her sheer talent and no-nonsense dedication to the band's credibility in a time where sexism was much more magnified in rock music than today.  Fanning and Stewart lend their vocals to the film's soundtrack doing credible jobs, while the music is incorporated seamlessly into the storyline.

THE RUNAWAYS: MORE THAN JUST A KISS

I love it when Film and Music come together, especially when it's done right. Apparition/River Road Entertainment's first collaboration The Runaways is a biopic based on the popular mid-70s punk band of the same name.  The film stars teen heavyweights Kristen Stewart (Panic Room, Twilight) and Dakota Fanning (I Am Sam, The Twilight Saga: A New Moon) and has already received rave reviews at Sundance Film Festival this past January, where it premiered.  

The Runaways follows the teen years of Joan Jett and Cherie Currie, both Valley Girls, who transform into punk-rock legends in defining an era of teenage angst.  Together they opened the doors for many women in rock music today.

In addition to acting in the film, both Stewart and Fanning who play Jett and Currie respectively, actually sing in the film.  Fanning performs two solo numbers on the soundtrack including covers of Cherry Bomb and California Paradise.  The two collaborated on four remakes for the film's soundtrack, which will be released March 23, 2010 via Warner Music.  Joan Jett jumped aboard the project as Executive Producer, so that any authenticity concerns can be alleviated.

The film features a much heralded girl-on-girl kissing scene between its two lead actresses.  Intriguing, yet absolutely Pervalicious.  "It wasn't that big of a deal. It's just another part of the story. This kiss was passionate - Joan and Cherie were just as close as two could get", said Fanning at the Sundance Film Festival Q&A.
