FIRST LOOK: "HERE COMES THE BOOM" STARRING KEVIN JAMES

Still from Here Comes the Boom
Seriously, my jaw dropped when I saw this! Although I don't think it's possible for Kevin James to star in a Film without some degree of Comedy involved, this really has him digging deep. Here Comes the Boom centers around a High School Biology Teacher who trains to become a Mixed Martial Arts Fighter to raise funds for his cash-strapped School. Think Warrior or The Fighter, but funnier. And look how fit he got! Insane.

The Supporting Cast also is particularly interesting with Salma Hayek starring as James' Love Interest, plus Teen Pop Star Charice and Henry Winkler.

THE 2011 MET GALA - RED CARPET VICTRESSES

One of my favourite events of the year to creep is the the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art's Costume Institute Gala and the Ladies came out in full force again this year.  The Gala this year features the Exhibition, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, honouring the late Designer whose Successor Sarah Burton has had Fashionistas in a fury uniformly with Kate Middleton's Grace Kelly-inspired Wedding Dress.

Jennifer Hudson flaunted that new Body in Oscar de la RentaJennifer Lopez stunned in Gucci.  Blake Lively shocked in ChanelDakota Fanning was cute in Valentino. Salma Hayek was flawless in Alexander McQueenMadonna was demure in Stella McCartney. Both Sofia Vergara and Renée Zellweger were perfection in Carolina Herrera.

SALMA HAYEK FREAKS OUT OVER SNAKE

Something funny to brighten your Friday. Extra caught this footage of Grown Ups' leading ladies, Maya Rudolph, Salma Hayek and Maria Bello at a Press Junket for the comedy. Watch as the ladies notice a snake (off-camera) slithering towards them.  This is almost as good as The Grape Lady video. Almost. It just goes to show that sometimes the best promotion can happen accidentally and virally.

Sony Pictures' Grown Ups opens June 25, 2010.
