| Cupcake Bar at Loblaws Maple Leaf Gardens |
After hearing so much about it, I finally got a chance to check-out the brand-new Loblaws at Maple Leaf Gardens today I admit, I was overwhelmed with 85,000 square feet of space, containing aisle upon aisle of neatly-stacked Groceries. I'm just not used to this much choice! I was impressed by the fact that they also have a Joe Fresh, LBCO, Tea Emporium, a Patisserie and a Counter serving the same Sushi found at Asian Supermarket Chain T&T. And how about that gigantic Cheese Wall? And Cupcake Bar? I couldn't stay focused.
Prices actually were reasonable, depending on what you're looking for and the fact that they carry No Name Brand, President's Choice and also an array of Brands for many products, opens-up some options for Consumers of every budget. I got a huge jar of Kraft Peanut Butter for $2 and change, a vintage Limited Edition box of Corn Flakes for $1 and a huge Club Pack of Chicken for $10 - all great deals.
If you haven't checked it out yet, do so soon! Loblaws at Maple Leaf Gardens is located at 60 Carlton Street (at Church Street). And remember to ask the Staff to bring you to the center of the Rink just for giggles. Hard to believe this is the same place in which the likes of Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Matt Damon, Mariah Carey, Bob Dylan, New Kids on the Block and so many more once stepped-foot!
