FIRST TRAILER: "THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY"

Still from The Hobbit
In all honesty, I dreaded having to read The Hobbit in High School, but now that it's presented like this, I think I get it actually! Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy) adapts J.R.R. Tolkien's classic Novel here in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, where we meet a reluctant Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) who is sent away on a Journey to find a treasure stolen from a Dragon named Smauug. Gandalf (Sir Ian McKellen) tells him that if he does return, he'll "never be the same".

The combined budget for the The Hobbit Films coming in 2012 and 2013 are said to be over $500 million. By comparison, The Lord of the Rings trilogy was made for $285 million.  Expect to be wowed.
