LADY GAGA IN MAY 2011 ISSUE OF "HARPER'S BAZAAR"

Lady Gaga in May 2011 issue of Harper's Bazaar
Derek Blasberg interviews Lady Gaga in the upcoming May issue of Harper’s Bazaar and right off the handle, things start on a tense note after having been kept waiting for over an hour at her Studio. He beings by questioning her on those strange Horns (or “Bones” as she calls them) which she has been sporting on her head of late, asking her whether or not she is encouraging her Fans ("Monsters") to modify their bodies. "Trust me, I know that. I think a lot of people love to convolute what everyone else does in order to disempower Women. I am in no way promoting Sadomasochism or Masochism.", she snaps back.

After moving towards a bit of a friendlier direction, the Interviewer reveals after hearing Tracks off of upcoming Album Born this Way, that it is in fact “epic” and that each Track is “intoxicating” in a different way. Gaga says, “Born This Way is the Marijuana to the Heroin of the Album. The experience gets massively more intense as you explore it. All the different songs are different kinds of highs.".

Although I’m sure many of us have our doubts about Gaga’s oversaturation with the amount of attention and exposure she gets, she tells Blasberg that “People love you when they think you won't be around for very long, and people hate you when they can't get rid of you. But I'm not going anywhere.". Mega-star.

One month and ten days. The countdown is on to the birth of Born this Way! Enter to win a copy here.
