LARRY KING VISITS TORONTO

Larry King & Mr. Will-W.
With his hectic schedule now freed-up, Emmy Award-winning Television Personality Larry King had leisure on his mind in his visit to Toronto today. It was by chance that I ran into King in Yorkville early this evening as he headed out to Dinner with a good Friend of his.

Asking if I could get a Photo together with him, King replied smilingly, "Sure, if you want!". He then arranged for his Friend to operate my Camera for us. King tugged me over with his hand on my back, colliding with my hand as I placed it on his back. Awkward.

"Now that's a beautiful Photo!", his Friend assured me. King then asked, "How in the world do people know I'm even here?".  In all honesty, this crossing of paths was by-chance completely. King and his Friend then into their SUV, as their Driver awaited them.

The 77 year-old  taped his last episode of CNN's Larry King Live on December 10, 2010. The reins have now been handed over to Piers Morgan, who has not been able to match his successor in terms of ratings. It is said that King on average was able to pull-in 674,000 viewers per night. Morgan with his Piers Morgan Tonight however, drew 498,000 viewers on his least-watched night in January 2011.

The plus side for those Fans of King is that he will begin touring this April in the U.S., although there are no Canadian dates set yet. In the meantime you can follow him on Twitter here.

I don't believe my luck.
