I love things with an edge and The Mob Doctor is definitely not lacking in that regard. The FOX Series stars Jordana Spiro as a Surgeon in Chicago who must balance her Career with the demands of the Mob, in repaying a Family Debt.  Former Rock of Ages Star James Carpinello (Husband of Amy Acker) also stars. Spiro should appear familiar to those with Cable Television with her extensive list of TV Work including Series like My Boys and The Huntress.

NICK ZANO & LAURA VANDERVOORT IN TORONTO FOR "THE UNTITLED SANTA PROJECT"

And all the Girls go screaming.  Yes, that's hunky Nick Zano and he's now in Toronto filming an TV Movie known only as ABC Family's The Untitled Santa Project due later this year for the Holidays.  Although details are pretty nil right now on what the Movie is actually about, we know that Zano stars as a character named David Morretti, while his Toronto-based Co-Star Laura Vandervoort stars as Jennifer Walker.  This is one of two ABC Family Holiday TV Movies being filmed in the City right now alongside 12 Dates of Christmas, which stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Amy Smart. Filming began just yesterday for The Untitled Santa Project in a Residential area and continued today in an Office setting around Eaton Centre.   And a group of Zano's Female Fan Base in Toronto were out in full force showing their support yesterday which touched him enough to Tweet today, "It was great meeting everyone yesterday, thanks for the love Toronto.".  Aww!

Although they've been here for a couple weeks already, I finally got a chance to sneak a peek of the set for 12 Dates of Christmas, a TV Movie from ABC Family due this Winter.  The Romantic-Comedy stars none other than our favourite Saved by the Bell's Zack Morris himself, Mark-Paul Gosselaar.  The Los Angeles-based Actor more recently had a turn on HBO's acclaimed Weeds as the love interest of Mary-Louise Parker's Nancy Botwin.  

The lovely and underrated Amy Smart who we spotted just over a week ago out and about in the City could be seen doing takes entering and leaving this French Restaurant transformed into a Pub.  They were filming what appeared to be a Blind Date scene.

Between takes, Smart could be seen enjoying a couple Timbits (translation: Doughnut Holes from Tim Horton's), as Gosselaar alternated between his Laptop and an iPad.  Somebody loves his Gadgets!  Just before the weekend, we learned that he has just fallen in love with one of Canada's signature dishes, Poutine, having ventured to Smoke's Poutinerie.

It's been a while since we've seen the radiant Amy Smart, but the Star of popular titles like Just Friends, Starsky & Hutch, Road Trip and Crank is now in Toronto filming an ABC Family Holiday Film 12 Dates of Christmas, scheduled to air later this year.

The Film also stars Saved by the Bell and Weeds Star Mark-Paul Gosselaar as a Hockey Coach and it is set to wrap at the end of the month.

I ran into Smart by chance out and about today alone on her day off and she was amazingly sweet to take a Photo together.  The Actress was spotted in Yorkville earlier this week where she was filming a scene on Cumberland Ave.
