Playful, fun and glamorous would fittingly describe the forthcoming Marni at H&M Collection. The Summer-centric line pays homage heavily to the '60s through the early '70s - an Era remembered by Fashion Icons like Mary Tyler Moore and Jackie Onassis. The Italian Fashion House founded by Consuelo Castiglioni, promises hypnotic Tribal and Bauhaus-inspired prints meant to be paired in an array of unlikely and chic combinations, at affordable price points. There might even be some inflections here from H&M's 2008 Collaboration with Finnish Textile Maker, Marimekko?
The vibrant limited-time-only Collection also is highlighted by a selection of bold, colourful and larger-than-life Accessories and also a recurring theme among the Men's and Women's pieces are the prevalence of dual tones and patterns on tops and dresses. Even if you feel you lack the bravado to pull-off all the mixing and matching, some of these pieces would work well paired with some of your solid-coloured wardrobe basics.
And how could one forget their Charity T-shirts in support of Japanese Relief efforts? 25% of profits from Marni at H&M's super-adorable T-shirts will go to the Red Cross Japan.
