ALAN THICKE IN TORONTO FOR "CANADA READS"

Alan Thicke & Mr. Will-W.
Although most of us know him as Jason Seaver from popular ABC Sitcom Growing Pains, Actor/Writer/Singer/Songwriter Alan Thicke is one of Canada's greatest Entertainment Exports.  Many don't realize the influence he has had on Pop Culture as we know it today, having composed the themes to popular TV Shows like The Facts of Life, Diff'rent Strokes and The Wheel of Fortune.

In addition, Thicke also recently was seen on How I Met Your Mother and will soon be seen alongside Adam Sandler and Susan Sarandon in 2012 Comedy I Hate You, Dad.  Above this, one of Thicke's greatest (re)productions undoubtedly is R&B Singer/Songwriter Robin Thicke, Husband of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol star, Paula Patton.

Thicke currently is in-town for Canada Reads 2012, which has him championing the The Game by former Montreal Canadiens Goaltender Ken Dryden as the one Non-Fiction Book which Canadians must read. He himself is known as a Hockey Fanatic, so his choice comes as no surprise. Other Celebrities defending their favourites from elimination include Rapper Shad, Supermodel Stacey McKenzie, Dragon's Den Star Arlene Dickinson and Montreal TV Personality Anne-France Goldwater.

Catching him on his way into a cab, Thicke multi-tasked a phone call, signing Autographs and taking Photos, apologizing for not having time to properly greet Fans.  Looking good though, for 64-years-old though, wouldn't you say?
