THE OXFORD ENGLISH DICTIONARY ADDS NEW WORDS "LOL", "OMG" & MORE

Finally! The Oxford English Dictionary has rolled out the Red Carpet for what it calls “noteworthy initialisms” in the English language, as announced yesterday.  Based on their strong association with the language of Electronic Communications, “words” like “LOL”, “OMG”, BFF” and “IMHO” are now officially a part of our vocabulary according to the Dictionary.

Legal Documents, Death Notices, Collection Letters, Marriage Licenses, Prenuptial Agreements…. let’s go crazy!  Yay.
