He's bloody crazy! Sacha Baron Cohen who is now at work on an upcoming Freddie Mercury Biopic slated for release later this year, has signed-on to star in an Adaptation of the Saddam Hussein Novel, Zabibah and The King

. The Film will be called The Dictator and is being developed by Paramount Pictures. Scott Rudin who had a hand in producing The Social Network and True Grit, both current Oscar candidates, is also attached to this one. IndieWire announced that the Film will be released some time in 2012.
I'm assuming this is going to be a Satire of sorts as the Novel is about a Dictator who risked his life to ensure that Democracy never infected his Country. Delicious.
