Although I know it's only Tuesday, I predict this weekend's Box Office numbers will be huge. Opening Friday are:

| Lionsgates Films' Festival of Testicles, The Expendables (3,000 theatres) |

| Universal Pictures' Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2,600 theatres) |
Although it's clear where a majority of the ladies will be heading this weekend, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World really will have its work cut out as it competes for a slice of that male demographic which enjoys Action Hero-type films. Where it does have a bit of an edge is its young cast which will draw teens out to the Cinema with their disposable income, plus the Graphic Novel already has a very loyal legion of fans. But alas, Movie-goers won't be able to resist The Expendables' draw of Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke and many, many more.
Here's my predictions for the order of finish:
1. The Expendables
2. Eat Pray Love
3. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
Of course, we have to factor in that Inception still continues to perform strong and last week's champ The Other Guys might also continue to do v. well.... Are you planning on seeing any of these new releases?
