For those of my Canadian readers who recently received this coupon (seen right) via e-mail claiming to offer a Buy ONE Movie Ticket Get ONE FREE, I have confirmed with Cineplex that the coupon is indeed fake.
The movie magnate is getting a good number of customers arriving at its theatres with these coupons printed out and unfortunately are turning away these coupons. In fact, they ask to retain the coupon so they can destroy it. Just a note in case you were thinking of being generous this weekend on a hot date.
