MARIAH CAREY SURPRISES AT WALMART SHAREHOLDERS' MEETING

Lucky shoppers!  Attendees at Walmart's annual Shareholders' Extravaganza at the University of Arkansas were treated to a surprise two-song performance by Mariah Carey earlier today.  The diva who is the target (no, not that Target) of pregnancy rumours performed number one hits Hero and We Belong Together, receiving a standing ovation from the audience.  Other performers today included Josh Groban, Mary J. Blige and Jamie Foxx

Carey also is working on what is said to be a "lush" second Christmas album right now.  The album will be out in time for the Holidays and reunites Carey with Jermaine Dupri and American Idol's Randy Jackson.  The album will be live sounding and feature an orchestra according to fan Bible Mariah Daily.

  1. I'm in awe -- apparently this happens every year? A friend of mine on Twitter got to go, and she said they even got paid for their time.

    ::sigh:: Sounds like fun. :)
