I've been meaning to post this trailer for a while as it looks intriguing enough. The film, Love Ranch is directed by Taylor Hackford (Ray) starring none other than his wife, the lovely Dame Helen Mirren. After repeated delays, the film is now set for a release date June 30, 2010.
The story is about a couple who run the first ever legalized Brothel in Nevada, The Mustang Ranch. It is believed that Mirren's character Grace has an affair with of the the Brothel's client's, a much younger Argentinian boxer Armando (Sergio Peris-Mencheta). Joe Pesci plays Charlie, Grace's husband and apparently guns down Armando after discovering their affair. True story.
The dialogue sounds completely soapy, but Love Ranch should be juicy. And get this, the film has a supporting cast of Gina Gershon (Showgirls), Taryn Manning (Hustle & Flow) and Bai Ling (not known for much late other than stealing some magazines and getting arrested for it)! Perfect casting.
