So Apple has announced the launch of its latest techno-darling, the iPad (insert feminine hygiene jokes ______) as soon as late March. Merging the concepts of the Netbook together with the iPod, this Touch-screen portable device allows you to surf the web with mobility. It weighs 1.5 lbs and measures 0.5 inches thin and 9.7 inches long, allowing you to perform activities on-the-go like viewing/editing photos, word processing and accessing various Apple applications (i.e. iTunes) also. The iPad will be sold starting from $499 US.
Honestly, what's the point? Why not fork out another couple hundred more dollars and just get a proper 13 inch iBook or laptop derivative?
