I would like to give out a wholehearted thank you to everyone who supported my Saving Lives With a New Profile Pic initiative with Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation. The foundation was kind enough to issue this official release about my initiative today in which we raised over $1,700. The initiative saw me doing a series of Facebook portraits with all proceeds going to the hospital's most pressing needs.
In November 2006 I was a patient with a pressing need.
I encourage you in 2010 to give back to a cause that means something to you - small or large.
