JIM CARREY & KATHY GRIFFIN POST CREEPY LOVE LETTER VIDEOS

Jim Carrey & Kathy Griffin (Top to Bottom)
Jim Carrey started it all off with a disturbing Video Love Letter to Emma Stone earlier this week and now the amazing Kathy Griffin has jumped on-board, professing her love for Justin Bieber too! But who did creepy better? That is the question!

Among some of the praise for Stone in Carrey’s rants were, “Emma, you are more than pretty. You are all-the-way beautiful”, before going on to tell her, “You are smart, kind-hearted. And if I were a lot younger, I would marry you and we’ve have chubby little freckle-faced kids...”.

Not to be outdone, Griffin in her own Video pledged to Bieber, “If I could I would marry you... we would have kids...”, crossing one more step over-the-line saying, “We should just get hotel”. LOL

JIM CARREY PARODY PARODIES "BLACK SWAN" ON "SNL"

Jim Carrey in Black Swan Parody
Jim Carrey hosted Saturday Night Live last night in a triumphant return to the screen after having taken some time off to handle personal issues, including his break-up from Jenny McCarthy.  Although there hasn't been much promotion for his repeatedly-delayed new film I Love You Phillip Morris, this appearance is a perfect reminder why the Canadian Actor is in a league of his own.

Skit after skit was Comedy Gold for Carrey and in particular last night, this Black Swan parody made me laugh uncontrollably. Parodying Mila Kunis' character of Lily, Carrey dons a black Tutu and a pair of - get this - Buffalo Wings  versus Angel Wings tattooed on his back, repeatedly trying to seduce Vincent Cassel's Toma (Bill Hader) from Natalie Portman's Nina (Abby Elliot).  Does he succeed?  You'll see.

Although there might be regional restrictions, you can stream the Clip in full below here from NBC's site:

NEW "I LOVE YOU PHILLIP MORRIS" POSTER AND RELEASE DATE

I Love You Phillip Morris Official Poster
You've gotta be kidding me, right?  I Love You Phillip Morris, the quirky Gay Romantic Comedy starring Ewan McGregor and Jim Carrey is FINALLY getting a release date - December 3, 2010.  Let's see how long before that gets changed again as multiple delays in its release have raised the question of whether or not there is any point at all in releasing it in theatres.  Regardless, a new promotional poster for the film has just been released above.

Although the film was slated for a limited release this August, legal battles over money matters between the film's production company EuropaCorp and its original distributor Consolidated Pictures, have been resolved and U.S. distribution rights have been sold to Roadside Attractions, which is owned partly by Lionsgate Films.  Visit the film's official website here.

I saw the film already a while back and this is my review of it here.

FILM REVIEW: I LOVE YOU PHILLIP MORRIS

Glenn Ficarra and John Requa's I Love You Phillip Morris is perhaps one of the most daring films to hit the big screen in quite some time.  And it is a result of this, distribution has been a bit of an issue, resulting in multiple delays in its release. The film, based on a true story, is about a con artist named Steven Jay Russell (Jim Carrey) who is married with a wife Debbie (Leslie Mann) and child. After living life on the straight and narrow (pardon the pun), he gets into a car crash which forces him to re-evaluate his life as a gay man.

Steven falls in love with  Jimmy (Rodrigo Santoro) and after a roller coaster of a relationship which has him committing Credit Card and Insurance Fraud in order to afford the high life, he finally goes to jail. In prison is where Steven meets graceful blond haired, blue eyed Phillip Morris (Ewan McGregor). The attraction is instant and after being separated, their passionate for one another rages on. Suave Steven poses as a lawyer, managing to get Phillip out of prison and he even lands the job as Chief Financial Officer of a corporation, all based on deceit and social savvy alone. He continues to lie and steal out of love for Phillip, promising to protect and take care of him. Not before long though, the legal authorities are on to him and Phillip also grows suspicious.

Steven goes back to jail, but not without a fight. He escapes successfully a total of four times in attempts to win back Phillip's heart and what results is a twisted yet unlikely story of true love and the extremes which someone will go to in filling the voids of their life.

I LOVE YOU PHILLIP MORRIS GETS AN ACTUAL RELEASE DATE

After much speculation that its release would be in jeopardy because of its controversial theme, Consolidated Pictures' I Love You Phillip Morris will finally see the light of day, July 30, 2010 December 3, 2010, expanding the following week.  Jim Carrey plays Steve Russell, who is married with a wife (Leslie Mann), but after getting into a car accident, he re-evaluates his life in realizing that he's gay.

He then goes to prison after getting himself into some trouble, living a life of indulgence and that is where he meets the love of his life, Phillip Morris (Ewan McGregor).  The trailer looks absolutely hilarious and despite amazing reviews at the Sundance Film Festival last year, I'm surprised that it's taken this long for it to surface.  This most recent postponement would no doubt in part have to do with Carrey's recent break-up with longtime girlfriend Jenny McCarthy.
