"KLAINE" & "BRITANNA" DOUBLE-KISS AT "GLEE LIVE! IN CONCERT!" DUBLIN

Heather Morris & Naya Rivera kiss in Dublin
Dublin Gleeks got "duble" the shock last night with the conclusion of the Glee Live! In Concert! Tour!  In a skit where Heather Morris' Brittany is to seduce Darren Criss' Blaine, then being confronted by Chris Colfer's Kurt, the audience saw both Kurt and Blaine (known affectionately by Fans as Klaine) go in for a kiss, asserting their love for one another before a sea of screams.

Brittany however definitely wasn't left-out this time either, with Naya Rivera's Santana arriving on-stage and surprising just about everybody by kissing Brittany, adding further to their simmering romantic story line on the Series. Will we be seeing more of Britanna in the coming third season of Glee? Les wait and see!  How fitting for Pride Weekend!

In the meantime watch the exchanging of kisses below:

CHORD OVERSTREET POSSIBLY LEAVING "GLEE"

Chord Overstreet in Toronto - June 2011
Breaking news! It appears that Chord Overstreet will not be returning for a third season of Glee as a  Regular after it was just announced that Cast Mates Harry Shum, Jr. and Darren Criss were just added aboard as Regulars on the Series.  Overstreet who had been a part of the Transatlantic Glee Live! In Concert! Tour this Summer notably and perhaps surprisingly, was not promoted.

The second season of Glee had ended on May 24, 2011 and Overstreet who plays Sam Evans, may in fact still return occasionally on the Show this Fall, so don't fret yet if you're a Fan.

CORY MONTEITH OPENS UP ABOUT DRUG AND ALCOHOL PAST

Cory Monteith in Toronto - June 2011
Because Parade Magazine is really difficult to come by in Canada, a Friend directed me to read this Piece about Glee's Cory Monteith.  The British Columbian, after encountering several of his Co-stars in their recent Toronto visit, confirmed that he probably is the nicest member of that Cast.

Monteith tells Parade's Shawna Malcom all about his troubled past which many of us don't know about. Apparently the Actor/Musician had gone through 12 different schools as a Child, had serious Drug and Alcohol Addictions, stole money from his Family and went through Rehab. Wow.

The Interview also touches upon his reuniting with his Father in 2009 and the emotional experience of seeing one another again at the Airport.

DIANNA AGRON MISSES DETROIT "GLEE LIVE! IN CONCERT!" SHOW

Dianna Agron in Toronto - June 2011
The beautiful Dianna Agron inexplicably is missing from tonight's Glee Live! In Concert! show at Detroit's Palace of Auburn.  After spending her weekend in Toronto, some seasoned eyes in Yorkville noted to me that she was seen with her Luggage in-tow around 4:00 PM EST, cutting it extremely close to her show later this evening south of the Border.  One Onlooker tells me, "She didn't look too happy in front of her Hotel", confirming that she was wearing her Heart-shaped Sunglasses today. Most of her fellow Cast Mates left Toronto today shortly after 12:30 PM, one Guest at their Hotel tells me.

Having met the lovely Singer/Actress yesterday, she appeared to be all smiles during the Afternoon as she strolled through the streets with her Handler.  Whatever her reason is today for not being able to make it to Detroit, let's all send her our well wishes and positive thoughts via Twitter here, where she has been quiet all day. Love you, Dianna!

DIANNA AGRON OF "GLEE" SPOTTED IN TORONTO

Dianna Agron in Toronto - June 2011
Just about every Gleek - and there were many - waiting outside the Cast's Hotel in Yorkville was shocked to see their favourite Teen Mom Quinn Fabray (Dianna Agron), walk through the Lobby onto the street and interact with Fans.  This actually was a refreshing change from many of her Co-stars who remained low-key this weekend.  Despite being told by Hotel Security that she couldn't pose for Photos with Fans on-premises, the kind-spirited Agron took the party onto the Street where she chat with Fans, remaining cool and calm despite her Handler's persistent shooing-away of Fans.

Agron then told the Crowd, "I've got to go out and get some Air. When I come back later, I'll try my best to stop and take some Photos with you!".  She then did a quick round through Yorkville, where a couple ardent Fans and me managed to flag her attention.  Agron of course, was lovely enough to oblige to Photo requests  once the Crowd dwindled with a smile, before more Fans came out of nowhere requesting Photos with her. She then  had to decline with grace and sincerity.  In the v. least she told Fans that they could take Photos of her as she continued to walk along and they were thrilled with this. Dianna Agron totally gets the Fame thing and rocks it with Dignity.  Kudos.

And how about that cute Outfit of hers?  She wore a Green Floral Print Skirt, paired with a Pink Sweater and some Turquoise Urban Outfitters Headphones around her neck. Love those vintage Pink Heart-shaped Sunglasses!  Agron is a Girl I'd love to hang with. Style Maven!

BoA & DEREK HOUGH SPOTTED AT "GLEE LIVE! IN CONCERT!" AT TORONTO'S AIR CANADA CENTRE

BoA at Glee Live! In Concert! in Toronto
With Production for Cobu 3-D wrapping up in less than two weeks, Asian Pop Princess BoA is making the best of her time in Toronto and this evening she was spotted sitting adjacent from me at the Glee Live! In Concert! Show at Air Canada Centre.  Having done an excellent job remaining under the radar for the past month or so with her protective Entourage watching over her most of the time, BoA made a rare public appearance tonight.

The Korean Songstress was sitting one row behind Co-star Derek Hough (Dancing with the Stars), whose Cousin Riker Lynch actually was performing in the Show and appears on the Fox series as a member of The Warblers.  BoA was seen having a wonderful time, laughing and cheering out loud, especially during The Warblers' performances of P!nk's Raise Your Glass and Katy Perry's Teenage Dream.

Enjoy these Photos below as they are hard to come across:

DARREN CRISS & JENNA USHKOWITZ MEET TORONTO "GLEE" FANS

Darren Criss, Mr. Will-W. & Jenna Ushkowitz
As part of my Glee Live! In Concert! Ultimate Fan Package, I got to meet two stars from the Musical Sitcom prior to tonight's Show at Air Canada Centre!  I was v. pleased with the two selected Stars I was granted a chance to meet: Darren Criss and Jenna Ushkowitz.  Both were v. friendly (although you might not be able to see that in Ushkowitz's face above!) at the Meet & Greet and assured me I'd have a blast at the Show.  We even exchanged hugs.

Although Criss arrived in Toronto yesterday and had a chance to enjoy the City, Ushkowitz flew in from New York City this Morning with some of her fellow Cast members before heading straight to the venue.

The opportunity to meet Criss and Ushkowitz was a pleasure (at last!).  The most amazing thing about my Ultimate Fan Package was that mine and my friend Ryan's seats were amazing!  We literally were at the edge of the stage, placed within a Pit where we can see the Cast perform from a 360-degree view!

HEATHER MORRIS SPOTTED IN TORONTO FOR "GLEE LIVE! IN CONCERT!" TOUR | WIN A SIGNED CD!

Heather Morris in Toronto - June 2011
The beautiful and talented Heather Morris was spotted out and about earlier this morning on a Coffee and Biscotti run in Yorkville, prior to heading off to Air Canada Centre to do a Meet & Greet with Fans and Co-star Ashley Fink.  The Actress/Singer/Dancer who plays Brittany S. Pierce on Fox's Glee was sweet enough today to stop for a few Fans waiting outside an upscale Grocer with a first-rate Bakery/Café in the area - bright and early.

One thrilled Fan told Morris, "You look so beautiful even with no Make-up!" to which she replied with a chuckle, "Oh, shut-up!" ....in the friendliest way possible, of course.  Asking if she would do posed Photograph with the handful of Fans, she declined "Maybe later when I have my Makeup on, on the way out".

After arriving back at her Hotel, she was greeted by some Fans who were dumbfounded by her surprise arrival. Noticing some Fans hot on her trails, she turned around and told one male Fan, "Please don't follow me", before heading off for the first of two Glee Live! In Concert! shows today.  That's our Heather!

A RESPONSE TO GLEEKS FROM A GLEEK

Wow.  It seems my last Post about the Toronto arrivals of Kevin McHale, Mark Salling, Heather Morris and Darren Criss have caused quite a stir among the most ardent of Gleeks and even some of the Cast members themselves.

Firstly, I thank you for taking the time to read and to have an opinion.  Secondly, I want you to know it is never my intention to upset Readers or even the Talent themselves.  If you're just visiting Mr. Will-W.:Pop Maven for the first time, you'll quickly understand through a quick look through previous entries that this is a Blog which tries to spread a positive energy and celebrate the Fan and Celebrity dynamic.

I have no reason to alter facts or make others' lives difficult.  Neither do I claim to be foolproof in accuracy - I do however report what is observed and verify to the best of my ability.  I have been a die-hard Gleek since its Pilot episode Spring 2009 and own every DVD and CD released thus far, plus having paid $500 for a Meet & Greet which apparently "entitles" Fans and myself either to meet one or two of the Cast members; I'm not even permitted to bring my Camera along also I'm told. I side with the Gleeks but simply cannot report much positive based on yesterday's observations and surely could find at least a dozen people to substantiate those observations.

I fail to see how being given false excuses one moment outside their Hotel and then later on seeing Criss and Salling make exceptions for a few Fans inside their Hotel isn't contradictory?   Or in the least bit, dishonest?  I totally get that Celebrities can't make time for everyone.  That goes without saying.

DARREN CRISS, MARK SALLING, HEATHER MORRIS & KEVIN MCHALE ARRIVE IN TORONTO FOR "GLEE" TOUR

Darren Criss in Toronto for Glee Live! In Concert! Tour
Despite starring in a bold and outrageous Musical Sitcom, some Cast members of Fox's Glee appear to be rather Fan-shy off-Camera.  Arriving in Toronto earlier today, Heather Morris, Kevin McHale, Darren Criss and Mark Salling, plus recent Cast additions Titus Makin Jr., Riker Lynch and Curt Mega had adventures of their own in Toronto.

McHale and Morris enjoyed their afternoon shopping in Yorkville, perusing the Fashions of Holt Renfrew, H&M, Roots, Aritzia and many more.  Catching them on their way back to their Hotel, I was able to get them to sign my Season 1 DVD but when other Fans asked kindly for Photos, Morris replied "We're five minutes later for Dinner.  We're not doing Photos today...", walking away mid-sentence.  Almost an hour later she and some Friends left her Hotel, telling eager and excited Fans, "We don't appreciate you taking our Photo", before rushing into a private SUVClick here to see a Photo from Photographer Todd Gillis who snapped Morris out-and-about earlier today.

Meanwhile, Criss, Makin, Lynch and Hall - also known as the Dalton Academy Warblers - rented Bixi Bikes and went on a Bike Ride through the City, winding-up in trendy Queen St. West.  Arriving back to their Hotel separately, Criss took a moment to greet Fans from a distance, telling them "I'm really tired and have to go to bed.  See you guys at the Show?".  It was 8:00 PM.  The remaining Warblers who arrived back a little later however were delightfully friendly, taking time to greet Fans, posing for Photographs.  It was learned that Makin was celebrating his Birthday in the City later this evening.

MATTHEW MORRISON: MATTHEW MORRISON - CD REVIEW

A bit rushed perhaps? This is the initial impression I get after a couple listens to Matthew Morrison’s self-titled debut from Mercury Records. The Disc combines new material co-penned by the handsome and talented Glee Actor, along with Duet Covers of Somewhere Over the Rainbow (Gwyneth Paltrow), Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot (Sting) and Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters/Rocket Man (Elton John).

New tracks like first Single Summer Rain are reminiscent of Hey, Soul Sister (Train) and the even-stronger Still Tonight are safely aimed to the hearts of a mature Pop Audience and Adult Contemporary Radio Stations. Hey - one of two co-written contributions from N Sync’s JC Chasez - draws inspiration from the Islands like Summer Rain, a good sound for Morrison’s pristine Tenor. The other Chasez contribution Don’t Stop Dancing, is one of few moments the Disc veers remotely towards the up-tempo and this might be a little disappointing for some Glee Fans who have enjoyed some harder-hitting performances from Morrison.

The strength of the Disc lies in its three marquee Covers and this is both good and bad - good in that Morrison’s Guest Vocalists push him to work that extra bit harder; bad in that he is outshined in the end result. Even worse is that the original material we get here simply isn’t remarkable enough to launch a successful solo Career. This becomes even more obvious considering that we know what Morrison vocally is capable of on a weekly basis. Above this, the Listener gets a sense that artistically he is still figuring out his own musical strengths, sounding like a different Vocalist from track to track.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HARRY SHUM JR.!

Harry Shum Jr.'s iPhone Birthday Cake
Happy Birthday, Harry Shum, Jr.!  Us Asians love our Gadgets, but this is just taking it to a whole new level!  Jon M. Chu, Director of Justin Bieber's Never Say Never 3-D, Tweeted this Photo of Shum's giant Birthday Cake, modeled after an iPhoneShum, who plays Mike Chang on Glee, celebrated his 29th Birthday this past Thursday.

Just one more month until Glee Live! In Concert! hits Toronto.  I cannot wait.  Got my Meet & Greet Pass and I'm good to go!

FOURTH SHOW ADDED IN TORONTO FOR "GLEE LIVE! IN CONCERT!" TOUR

Air Canada Centre Seating Chart for Glee Live! In Concert!
If there was ever any doubt of Glee's popularity in Toronto, know that a seldom heard-of fourth Glee Live! In Concert! Show has been lined-up for Air Canada Centre. To put this into perspective, this places the Cast of Glee in the company of heavyweights like U2, Spice Girls, The Police and Rush who were in-demand enough to appear four nights at the venue in the span of a Tour.  Bon Jovi holds the record for five shows at Air Canada Centre with their Lost Highway Tour.

Air Canada Centre for Concerts, typically seats approximately 19,800 spectators. You do the Math. Pretty impressive, right?

Tickets for the fourth Glee Live! In Concert! Show, a Matinee on June 12, 2011, go on sale this Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 10:00 AM EST. Order them here

Me? I'll be going to the Saturday, June 11 evening show with my friend Ryan and our Meet & Greet Passes.  Cannot wait!

GLEE CAST ON "THE X FACTOR"

Cast of Glee on The X Factor
Where is the justice? It was just announced this weekend that our friends in the UK will get to see the Glee Live! In Concert! Tour late June with stop-offs slated for Manchester and London. And Canada gets shafted yet again

The New Directions with the exception of Kurt (Chris Colfer) who was busy filming scenes, flew out to London this weekend for an appearance on The X Factor performing Journey's Don't Stop Believin' - making their first ever live appearance ever overseas.  Needless to say, the Brits loved it.  Have a look:

GLEE TOUR - NOT COMING TO A CITY NEAR YOU!

After much speculation, the cast of Glee has just announced a list of tour dates for their Glee Live! In Concert! tour and it will be happening much sooner than expected.  The paltry seven-date tour schedule has been announced below:

May 18: Phoenix, Ariz. (Dodge Theatre)
May 20: Los Angeles, Calif. (Gibson Amphitheatre)
May 21: Los Angeles, Calif. (Gibson Amphitheatre)
May 25: Chicago, Ill. (Rosemont Theatre)
May 26: Chicago, Ill. (Rosemont Theatre)
May 28: New York, N.Y. (Radio City Music Hall)
May 29: New York, N.Y. (Radio City Music Hall)

Tickets are on sale March 13th for all shows except the Phoenix show, which is on sale March 18th.

Quite disappointing not to see any Canadian dates listed I must say, and I'm sure many of our friends south of the border must feel somewhat neglected too. In fact, I feel as if I've auditioned for the Glee Club myself and got rejected! Oh well - it looks to be an amazing time regardless.  No, I'm not bitter.  Okay fine.... maybe just a little!

GLEE ON TOUR

Coming straight from the horses' mouths aka Twitter following their big Golden Globe win, the cast of Glee will be going on tour at some point in 2010.  Venues and dates are to be announced possibly sometime this week.  On second thought, it would be a bit insulting to equate hunks Mark Salling and Cory Monteith to horses, seeing that they both clearly are handsome.  It will be interesting hearing what the cast sounds look live sans all the studio gloss, but I must say that I am ecstatic to hear this news!  Only select cities will be chosen for the tour.  Crossing my fingers (and legs!) for Toronto.

p.s. Although I know it's very Perez Hilton of me, you can also follow me on Twitter here.
