THE ER'S NOAH WYLE IN TORONTO FILMING FALLING SKIES

Steven Spielberg-produced Falling Skies received a sneak preview at Comic-Con in San Diego this past weekend, reportedly failing to impress getting some mixed reviews.  The alien invasion series stars attractive veteran actor Noah Wyle, known more recently for his work as Dr. John Carter on ER and also many acclaimed films like Nothing But the Truth, White Oleander and A Few Good Men.

Falling Skies also stars Moon Bloodgood who starred recently in Termination Salvation and she is also currently in-town for production, which is scheduled to wrap early November.

I ran into Wyle on his way back downtown after having some fun at the Beaches Jazzfest today with a few friends, returning in time for dinner.  The actor is indeed v. friendly and approachable.  Perhaps you might see him out and about in the shopping district or outside having a smoke while he's in town?

Here are some photos I got of Wyle earlier this evening signing a couple autographs:

  1. Thanks for posting them!:) And as for "Falling Skies" just one reviewer was not impressed. TV Guide, Fan Cast, io9 and many others don't think so ;)

  4. I just saw Moon Bloodgood in Koreatown. No make-up, no entourage. Just herself. Looked like she came from the TacoBell/KFC since she had the drink from that place. I talked with her and she pretty much doesn't think she's a "movie star", I think she was kinda surprised that I even knew her last name when she said her name was Moon, I instantly said Bloodgood right after. Was a pleasant surprise of my day.

  5. Amazing, congratulations! I know many people who are envious of you right now. I believe she has a movie at TIFF too this year!
