BOBBY FARRELLY AT TORONTO PREMIERE OF "HALL PASS" | AUTOGRAPH GIVEAWAY

Bobby Farrelly at Toronto Premiere of Hall Pass
The Farrelly Brothers have delivered some of the most memorable Comedies of our time. Dumb and Dumber, Me, Myself & Irene and There's Something About Mary are just a few small-grossing and obscure titles you may have heard of - I kid. As hopes remain high for Brothers Peter and Bobby's upcoming revival of The Three Stooges (heavyweights like Sean Penn, Jim Carrey and Benicio Del Toro have been named), Fans thirsty for The Farrelly Brothers' bold and outre brand of Comedy can quench their thirsts with latest effort Hall Pass.

The Premise of the Warner Bros. Comedy is rather unconventional. Best Friends Rick (Owen Wilson) and Fred (Jason Sudeikis) have been married to their Wives Maggie (Jenna Fischer) and Grace (Christina Applegate) seemingly forever. Bored, they are granted permission to have extra-marital relations for one week. They learn soon that Freedom isn't so liberating after all when they realize that their Wives  too can have their fun. No, I am not reading this off the back of an XXX DVD.

Bobby Farrelly flew into Toronto this evening for a full day of Press tomorrow with major Media Outlets, promoting the release of Hall Pass.  Arriving just in time for a Q&A with tonight's Audience at AMC Yonge x Dundas,  the Rhode Island native was a huge blast, insisting that I join him in taking  a couple goofy Photos together after I had snapped some shots of him posing by the Film's Poster Display.  I admitted to him that There's Something About Mary is one of my favourite Movies of all time, which he seemed genuinely appreciative to hear.

Following him into the theatre along with the team at Warner Bros. Canada, Farrelly and Writing Partner Kevin Barnett entered to the resounding sound of laughter and applause from the young Audience.  "That was freakin' hilarious.  I didn't expect it to be that funny!", one young Woman behind me raved.  Another young Man in the Audience declared, "Hall Pass is this year's The Hangover".

Farrelly admitted that both he and his Brother are obsessed with Bodily Functions, a topic which many of their jokes are built upon.  Not to give too much away, there is a shocking scene in Hall Pass which revolves around some Male Anatomy, which caused quite a stir among the Audience.  The Director/Screenwriter also boasted of his great Cast, making some interesting choices like The View's Joy Behar and Oscar-nominated Richard Jenkins, whom the Farrelly Brothers are always looking to incorporate into their Films.

Watch Bobby speak about his casting choices below:

SUSAN BOYLE PERFORMANCE ON "THE VIEW" - SHERYL CROW SPEAKS OUT

Poor Susan Boyle. Everyone's talking about her performance of O Holy Night yesterday on The View where a minute into the song, it appears she had choked on some Saliva, then requesting another go at it. Someone neglected to tell her this was Live Television. It happens to every Singer, trust me, but from my days as a Performer, the first Rule of Thumb is to keep the show going. The Audience often appreciates it more when you pick up and fight your way to the finish after a Goof-up.

Sheryl Crow visited The View today and voiced her empathy, "My heart goes out to her. The same thing happened to me on Letterman many years ago when I was performing Strong Enough. Everyone knows it's freezing in there!".

Having sold over 650,000 copies of her second album The Gift in two weeks, I doubt that Boyle is at all down on herself. This is her second consecutive number one-selling album on the Billboard Hot 200 Chart.  A Fool could only dream of obtaining that level of success.

Let's re-live yesterday's moment again, shall we?

NEW MUSIC: RICKY MARTIN - THE BEST THING ABOUT ME IS YOU FT. JOSS STONE

Who ever said that "coming out" kills a career?  Ricky Martin is back and all eyes are on the singer as he preps the release of his first single since 2005, a duet titled, The Best Thing About Me is You ft. Joss Stone.  There is also a Spanish version of the track featuring Natalia Jimenez

Although the track isn't anything remarkable, Martin clearly knows who his target audience - the ladies - and has faith that they will be just as supportive as they once were on this number.

Martin will be appearing on tomorrow's episode of Oprah Winfrey and also The View on Wednesday discussing his experience since "coming out" and life with his twins Matteo and Valentino.

This new track will be released via RCA/Sony Music on his new album which is still untitled and without a set release date. Preview it in full below, courtesy of Sony Music (Flash Player required):

THANDIE NEWTON CONFIRMS MARIAH CAREY'S PREGNANCY AND LEAKS DETAILS ABOUT TOM CRUISE

Thandie Newton at TIFF 2010
That sweetheart known as Thandie Newton inadvertently revealed that Mariah Carey is in fact pregnant today on ABC's The View.  When asked by the show's Panel why it is that she wound up taking on her disturbed sexually-destructive role in Tyler Perry's upcoming For Coloured Girls, Newton revealed that Mariah Carey (originally cast for the part) became pregnant right before the film began Production.  She then corrected herself saying "... or something major is going on with her right now".  Love her!

It is expected that Mariah Carey will publicly announce her Pregnancy any day now with promotions being under way for her amazing Merry Christmas II You album.  Read my review of it here.

Joy Behar then asked Newton what it was like filming a love scene with Tom Cruise in Mission -Impossible II earlier in her career, joking "Did he jump on the bed?".  Newton giggled revealing that while filming one love scene in bed, she had been laying under the sheets when she noticed a sudden change in disposition in Cruise.  She later found out that he was wearing some type of a contraption which "masks whatever might be going on under there".

JOAN RIVERS TALKS SPERM ON "THE VIEW"

Joan Rivers on The View
"In case you're watching your weight, a spoonful of Sperm, The New York Times reports, is equivalent to two Weight Watchers points.  Two points!", Joan Rivers tells a disgusted Barbara Walters on today's airing of The View.  And that's why I love her.

Rivers was on the show today promoting the DVD release of her outstanding Documentary Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work, due in stores December 14, 2010.  Apparently she was just in Toronto last week hawking her line of Jewelry at the Home Shopping Network.
