RACHEL BILSON IN TORONTO FOR MAGNUM ICE CREAM

Although she often stays in the City for Leisure and Love (thanks to you, Hayden Christensen), rarely does she promote in the City. Rachel Bilson is known best for her work on Young Adult Drama Series The O.C., but her reason for stay actually this time was well… Ice Cream. Bilson is the new Face for Magnum Ice Cream, taking the reins from Ivanka Trump who visited Toronto last Spring at eight-months-pregnant to promote the Brand. Her Visit was timed perfectly during the Heatwave we’ve been experiencing this week.

Despite there being many surprise Celebrities visiting CityTV’s Breakfast Television with Dina Pugliese today for their annual Upfronts, a good number of Fans waited solely for a chance to meet Bilson. Despite being in a rush to her next stop at CTV’s The Marilyn Denis Show, Bilson noticed her Fans outside the window, making her way out to take a few Photos and sign a few Autographs. Bilson looked stunning in blue, tastefully revealing in all the proper spots.

The Actress recently received word that her Series Hart of Dixie has been renewed for a second season and locally it can be seen on CHCH. Meanwhile, Magnum Ice Cream Minis are available now at many Grocery Stores (and even Shoppers Drug Mart) around the City.

My Readers are the best. Said it before and saying it again. Eli who was up at an upscale Shop at Don Mills x Lawrence earlier today, ran into none other than our v. own Hayden Christensen and his four-year - give or take a few months due to a brief hiatus - Girlfriend Rachel Bilson.  

The lovely Couple are back in Christensen's Hometown where they met in 2007 filming Jumper.  Coincidentally, their Co-star Jamie Bell also was in-town this week promoting Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin. Another Reader Krista points out that they were seen shopping at Yorkdale's brand-new Topshop on Saturday too. Toronto, Center of the Universe!

Eli notes they were absolutely sweet, especially Christensen, out doing a bit of Holiday Shopping with a number of bags in-tow.  I love it when my Readers meet their Idols and surely we'll be seeing a lot more Celebs here over the Holidays. Keep sending in those spottings!

IVANKA TRUMP TO LAUNCH MAGNUM ICE CREAM IN TORONTO

In a surprising move, Magnum Ice Cream has chosen Ivanka Trump as their new Spokeswoman. The Model/Businesswoman/Author who sometimes appears on her Father Donald’s Reality Series The Apprentice, will be in Toronto on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 to launch the line of Ice Cream Bars locally.  Donald serves the "fired", Ivanka serves the "ice".

Although seemingly an odd pairing of flavours, UK/Dutch-owned Magnum Ice Cream has prior chosen sexy Celebrities like Benicio del Toro and Rachel Bilson as part of their Campaigns. Bilson only recently teamed-up with Designer Karl Lagerfeld on a series of Short Films for the Ice Cream Maker, which are slated for an unveiling late April.

The line of luxury Ice Cream Bars has been a hit overseas, launching in 1987 and has every year since 1989 introduced a new scintillating flavour to the Public.
