2011 has been a remarkable year for gorgeous Supermodel Lily Aldridge and now just one month after she stunned at the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, it is announced that she and Husband Caleb Followill of Kings of Leon - married May 2011 - are expecting their first Child together!  In early November also, Vogue Magazine also ranked Lily and her Sister Ruby fourth on their Best Dressed Siblings of 2011, beating-out the likes of Kate & Rooney Mara, Beyoncé & Solange Knowles and Catherine & Pippa Middleton.

The Couple's Rep tells People Magazine, "We can’t wait to meet the new addition to our Family.".

2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

One of the events I look forward to most every year is the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, where Music merges with the World of Women's Fashion into a slick, tightly-produced 60-minute Spectacle. This year Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West and Jay-Z joined the Victoria's Secret Angels in New York City for the Show taped earlier this month. 

Although many will argue that all of this is all Male-catering and Female-deprecating, I don't really see it that way.  The Show is a celebration of Beauty, Self-Love and Glamour.  The positivity that emanates from these Models is infectious and kinda makes me envious that there isn't a Victor's Secret!

Models who walked this year include: Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Anne Vyalitsina, Izabel Goulart, Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge, Chanel Iman, Karlie Kloss, Anja Rubik, Shanina Shaik, Constance Jablonski, Lily Donaldson, Karmen Pedaru, Emanuela De Paula, Cameron Russell, Toni Garrn, Liu Wen, Anais Mali, Joan Smalls, Maryna Linchuk, Lindsay Ellingson, Caroline Winberg, Sui He, Flavia de Oliveira, Lais Ribeiro, Bregje Heinen, Julia Stegner and Behati Prinsloo.

Kerr, Wife of Actor Orlando Bloom had the honour of wearing the Fantasy Treasure Bra designed by London Jewellers, valued at $2.5 million with 3,400 precious stones including Pearls, Diamonds, Aquamarines,and Citrines in white and yellow 18 Karat Gold, finished with tassel of Diamonds.

December 2011 Issue of Vogue

Vogue's December Issue will be hitting Newsstands next Tuesday and this time around they're pitting Siblings against Siblings in the Wars on Fashion. Coming out on-top of the Poll are Twins Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen as the Best Dressed Siblings in the Issue titled "The Best Dressed Issue".

Other famous Siblings to get recognition include: Rooney & Kate Mara, Lily & Ruby Aldridge, Kate & Pippa Middleton, Beyoncé & Solange Knowles.

LILY ALDRIGE STOPS BY VICTORIA'S SECRET YORKDALE

Isn't she lovely?  Supermodel Lily Aldridge visited Toronto yesterday appearing on CP24 and also doing an in-store Meet & Greet with Fans at Victoria's Secret - Yorkdale.  Although she's noted mostly in Tabloids for being the Girlfriend of Kings of Leon Frontman Caleb Followill, Aldridge is an accomplished Supermodel having appeared on spreads for Magazines: Elle, V, Cosmpolitan, Teen Vogue and Glamour.  Just last year she received those much-coveted Wings and was named a Victoria's Secret Angel.

Asking me how my day was going, I told her I was busy.  Telling her that I was excited to see Lady Gaga in Concert later that evening, she gasped "I'm so jealous! I appreciate you coming by to see me first!".  Bringing a Photo for her to sign, she declined telling me, "You see that Guy there (pointing at Security Guard)?  He's going to scream at me if I do, so I'm sorry!".

The event however wasn't given much publicity, which is surprising as surely many would want their Photo taken with the gorgeous Aldridge.  40 minutes into the two-hour Meet & Greet, she was given a bit of a break, allowing a line-up to accumulate.  I pity those who missed out!
