Jessica Simpson, Ashlee Simpson & Bronx Simpson-Wentz at The Bay

The lovely Simpson Sisters, Jessica and Ashlee, joined forces today in Toronto to promote the  just-launched Jessica Simpson Girls Line at The Bay's Queen Street Store. The Line which ranges from sizes 7 to 16 adapting some key styles from the successful Jessica Simpson Juniors Line, is a collaboration among both Sisters.  It is said that as early as next February, a Baby and Maternity Collection could be on its way too.

Tagging along to help Mommy out was Ashlee's thee year-old Son, Bronx who sure seems to be enjoying the jet-set life after spending a bit of time in New York City.  Many who attended the three-hour Event were in awe of soon-to-be Mommy Jessica's Glow and for those who must know, soon-to-be-Daddy Eric Johnson cheered-on from the wings.  As per Jessica, the Baby's Sex will be known in just a couple days as she's due for a visit to the Doctor.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to attend the Event. My Readers Lucas, Tatiana and Laura are absolutely sweet and ensured I was part of the fun, delivering in-person to me this amazing surprise of a Jessica Simpson Girls Poster which they got both Jessica and Ashlee to sign on their way out.  I am so touched.  Thank you!

Sisters Jessica and Ashlee Simpson will be appearing at the Queen Street Store on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 1:00 PM to promote the Jessica Simpson Collection.  The wildly successful Collection, available in over 650 Department Stores in the U.S., grossed $750 million in 2010.

Jessica, who currently is expecting her first Child with Eric Johnson, will be making her first known visit to Toronto since 2008 when she quietly filmed a Cameo in panned Comedy The Love Guru. Ashlee also last came in 2008 for a visit to promote the Fashion Line Request for Zellers.

Those who spend $50 or more on any item(s) from the Jessica Simpson Collection will get a free gift, an Autograph and also front-of-the-line access (while quantities last).

This pretty much is the best news we've gotten all Fall!  Simp-ly amaze.

"LIVE! WITH REGIS & KELLY" TO BE RE-BRANDED "LIVE! WITH KELLY"

Kelly Ripa & Nick Lachey as Kim Kardashian & Kris Humphries

How perfect was her timing?  Kelly Ripa had it down-pat when she decided to dress-up as Kim Kardashian on yesterdays taping of Live! with Regis & Kelly.  Guest Co-host Nick Lachey standing on stilts, was dressed as Kris Humphries, all falling on the day that the World was made aware of the just-married Couple's impending Divorce.

And is it also pure coincidence that Jessica Simpson, former-Wife of Lachey, confirmed her Pregnancy (Father: Eric Johnson) to the World via Twitter yesterday too?

With TV Icon Regis Philbin set to make his Departure from the long-running Show (began in 1983) on Friday, November 18, 2011 in what will be an emotional moment, it also was just announced that it will be re-branded as Live! with Kelly.  A  permanent a new Co-host is still being sought to fill Philbin's shoes. 

The first Celebrity Guest Co-host confirmed for November 21-23, 2011 is Jerry Seinfeld, a good Friend of Ripa's.

JESSICA SIMPSON ON-TARGET FOR $1 BILLION

No word of a lie, Women's Wear Daily reported today that Jessica Simpson is on-target to pull in $1 billion by 2012 from her Jessica Simpson Collection.  The line which is available at retail outlets like Sears, The Bay and Macy's, includes Shoes, Boots, Handbags, Jeans, Coats, Dresses, Fragrances, Jewelry, Intimates, Acessories and Lugage. 

On Simpson's success, Vince Camuto (Founder and CEO of the Camuto Group) told Women's Wear Daily that "People like her. People look at her as a style icon".  Camuto's company is the official Licensor of Simpson's products.

I knew her shoes were a hit among The Fashionable, but who would've known that Simpson was doing that well?  Her latest album Happy Christmas however, isn't faring quite as well, having debuted last week at number 123 on the U.S Billboard Hot 200 Chart with 10,153 copies sold.  The album is her first with independent label Primary Wave Music after having released six albums via Sony Music.

JESSICA SIMPSON COLLECTION LAUNCHES IN CANADA AT THE BAY

When she's not causing a stir on the Internet about her weight fluctuations or dating Football Players, public personality Jessica Simpson is busy at work with her Jessica Simpson Collection fashion line.  Now before you roll your eyes at me, know that last year her fashion line brought in $500 million in profits.  

Say what you will about her, but something tells me that the joke might actually be on us for under-estimating her intelligence and longevity.  One must commend her for having enough balls to accept that even though the public has lost interest in her music, they still are interested in her and that she's simply going where the money is. Come to think of it, I might have an album or two of hers in my CD collection somewhere....
