NEW MUSIC: NO DOUBT - "SETTLE DOWN"

No Doubt at long last have released their new Single, Settle Down, a perfect-for-Summer Jam consistent with their brand of Ska-Pop-Rock.  The Track is their first original material to surface in over a decade and can be found on their upcoming September 25, 2012 Release, Push and Shove.

Although the Verses will take a few listens to acquire a taste for, I appreciate the rhythmic complexities of the Track and that Chorus in the end is what will make this a Winner.  The Breakdown isn't like anything I've ever heard, so Bonus Points for Originality. I already hear a more confident- sounding Stefani (at least more than she sounded on her last Solo Disc, The Sweet Escape).  Excited for what's next and you should be too!

The Sophia Muller-directed Video has just surfaced also, capturing the fun essence and colour of the Track perfectly and what No Doubt exactly are all about.  A cute little on-screen Reunion moment thrown-in also for us Fans!

No Doubt

Best news ever. No Doubt has released this Video announcing the release date for their forthcoming Studio Disc from Interscope/Universal Music and the date set is September 25, 2012. The Album will be the two-time GRAMMY-winning Band's sixth and the first since 2003's Rock Steady. A first Single will be released this July. Guaranteed stellar.

Gwen Stefani at Yo Gabba Gabba! Live!

Gwen Stefani took a break from working on the new and sixth No Doubt album yesterday, bringing two sons Kingston and Zuma, out to see Yo Gabba Gabba!  Live!  There's a Party in my City at Nokia L.A. Live.  

Stefani was seen enjoying the Nick Jr. show immensely and brought her own Camera along, snapping Self-Portraits of herself and her Boys.  Kingston showed-off his freshly-polished nails, while Zuma rocked a Barrette in his hair.  Fashion Forward family.

Could you imagine sitting in your seat and suddenly seeing Stefani in the row ahead of you?  Freakout. She is one of the few people whom simultaneously I want to adopt me/hang out and shop with as BFFs. I'm so confused I think I might need Therapy.
