VIDEO: SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE "WE ARE THE WORLD 3" PARODY (MUST WATCH!)

Occasionally our friends at NBC's Saturday Night Live nail it and when they nail it, they nail it good. Watch their hilarious spoof We are the World 3, to raise awareness for the disastrous charity single We are the World 2010 for Haiti featuring Rihanna (Jennifer Lopez), Eddie Vedder, Adam Lambert, Shakira, Lady Gaga and Gwen Stefani (Kristen Wiig)!

What do you think - cruel or funny?

VIDEO PREMIERE: WE ARE THE WORLD 25 FOR HAITI OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO

Although only recorded off the television set, here it is, the NBC world premiere of We are the World 25 for Haiti premiering at 8:55 PM EST, right before the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony.

Although the intentions are amazing, something went wrong with the execution and perhaps with that many amazing vocalists in the group, more could have been done to share the lines? The last part of the song gets a bit messy and perhaps instead of placing rappers at the end, this is where the heavy hitters should've come out? I'd equate this to an Intercontinental Buffet that can't quite decide what it wants to serve. I definitely prefer the 1985 original.

Nonetheless, it isn't about whether or not we love it, it's all about the cause. All proceeds from iTunes downloads will be going towards Haiti's relief fund. Click here to download We are the World 25 for Haiti.

WE ARE THE WORLD 2010

Above is a photo taken by WireImage at the nine hour-long recording session for We Are the World 2010 for Haiti.  The star-studded charity single which features over 100 singers and actors, was recorded today at Jim Henson Studios in Hollywood.  The track, composed by Michael Jackson, Lionel Ritchie and Quincy Jones was a number one hit back in 1985, reaching 4x Platinum. Its goal was to raise money and awareness for famine relief in Africa.  The 2010 version of the song will be premiere on NBC February 12, 2010, the opening night of the Winter Olympics.

So apparently Vince Vaughn can sing, huh?  To view more pics from the recording session visit WireImage.Com.
