Right in-time for Back to School!  NBC's Community Stars Yvette Nicole Brown and Gillian Jacobs arrived in Toronto to promote the upcoming season of the Comedy Series after a highly-publicized Hiatus last Season, causing an outcry of support from Fans online.  

The Ladies, who play Shirley and Britta respectively, were out and about touring the TV Circuit including appearances on Global Television's The Morning Show and CityTV's Breakfast Television.

Braving the rain without umbrellas, both Brown and Jacobs - who looked incredible - stopped for a quick Photo while waiting for their Vehicles amidst the Bloor Street traffic.  Jacobs in particular was obsessed with my Dog Billy and we all joined-in on the fun for a Snap!

Season Four of Community premieres Friday, October 19, 2012 at 8:30 PM on CityTV.

TERRY CREWS IN TORONTO FOR "THE EXPENDABLES 2" | SIGNED PHOTO GIVEAWAY

Former Football Player/Actor Terry Crews arrived in Toronto last night for a day of Press in support of The Expendables 2. The friendly and handsome 44-year-old, who believe it or not is a Grandfather, started his day bright and early with a stop-off at KISS 92.5's Roz & Mocha Show, before throwing-on his Blazer and heading into Global Television's The Morning Show and then zipping over to CityTV's Breakfast Television. He later in the day will be joined by Co-Star and former UFC Champion Randy Couture for a day of Press out of their super-posh Hotel.

The Expendables 2 - directed by Simon West, Script by Sylvester Stallone - sees Crews reprising his role as the Hale Caesar. He tells Breakfast Television's Jennifer Valentyne, "This is an Action Lover's Dream Come True.  A real Man's Movie!".  And although he didn't break his neck like Stallone did in the Film's Predecessor, Crews admits to having endured a scar or two filming this latest installment.  Couture also stars as Toll Road,  his and Crews' Hale both playing-off each other comically.

Although he's had a tough run, Vernon, British Columbia-born Singer-Songwriter Daniel Powter is back and ready for the spotlight again with his latest Single, Cupid. Powter's rise to the top of the World of Pop in 2006 happened at a rocket speed.  His international Hit Bad Day reached the summit of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Chart, making him the first Canadian Male Artist to accomplish that feat since Bryan Adams in 1995, with Have You Ever Loved a Woman?  Despite the Track being named Billboard Magazine's Song of the Year in 2006 with JUNO, GRAMMY and BRIT Award nominations galore to follow, many of us have wondered since, "What happened to Daniel Powter?".

The Singer/Songwriter has been v. honest in the Media about his five-year-long battle with Cocaine and Alcohol Addiction which began at the pinnacle of his success. Now sober, Powter recently got engaged to the Mother of their six-month-old Daughter (he also has a ten-year-old Daughter from a previous relationship).  He is ready to release his third major label Album, Turn on the Lights.

A barely recognizable Powter with long hair was out and about earlier today promoting his new Disc on Global Television's Morning Show and also CHFI with a live performance with his Bandmates.  While waiting for his Van, he was super-friendly taking time to chat with Photographers, also signing Autographs. He tells one Fan jokingly, "You should get about $10 for that".  Whether or not he duplicates the success of Bad Day really doesn't matter at this point. He's here and he's survived the dark.

KELLY CUTRONE IN TORONTO FOR AMMA CANADA

Yes, it really happened!  On her way out of an appearance on Global Television's The Morning Show, I got to meet PR Queen, Television Star and Author Kelly Cutrone.  And she is everything I thought she would be: real, charismatic, commanding and fun. I've met many famous people in my time, but some fall short of what you'd hope when you actually do get to meet them. Cutrone's larger-than-life presence confirms exactly why we are so drawn to her and respect her opinions.

Cutrone made her debut on America's Next Top Model Cycle 18 late February, further solidifying her status as a Fashion Industry Icon, succeeding Vogue's André Leon Talley as a Judge on the popular TV Series.  She gained widespread exposure after turns on MTV's True Life, The Hills and The City.  Her PR Film People's Revolution has produced a record-breaking number of Fashion Shows for a high-profile Roster of Clients including the likes of Thierry Mugler, Bulgari, Valentino and Vivienne Westwood.

Taking a moment to promote her Brand, the Multimedia Empire's three-day visit to Toronto actually is for charity.  She is working with AMMA Canada, which in addition to hosting a Soup Kitchen, aims to serve the needs of those less fortunate and the Elderly in our Community.  The inspiration behind the Foundation, Amma (coined The Hugging Saint), currently is touring Canada with appearances at Doubletree by Hilton in Toronto's west-end  between Thursday, July 19 and Sunday, July 22, 2012. Meeting Cutrone was amaze.  After posing for a Photo together and chatting about recently-outed Rapper Frank Ocean (she thinks he was extorted for money), Neil Diamond (she thinks he's cute) and Madonna (she feels the Pop Queen has received ageist/sexist criticisms of late) - one of the Producers of The Morning Show escorting her to her Town Car tells me he's a Fan of my Blog.  Cutrone says to me, "What? You're a Blogger?  Send me details!".  She then approvingly tells the Producer, "You've gotta book this Guy to be on your Guest Panel, he's so funny!". Of course being a true blue Business Woman, jokingly she demands a payment. "I'm your PR now, see!  You can wire me the funds in Canadian dollars!" she says, referencing our Dollar's run towards Parity to the US Dollar.  Dead.

LL COOL J UNVEILS NEW SEASON OF "NCIS: LOS ANGELES" AT SHAW UPFRONTS IN TORONTO

Two-time GRAMMY Award Winner and Actor LL Cool J flew into Toronto Sunday night to gear-up for the Shaw Upfronts, unveiling a new Season of CBS' NCIS: Los Angeles.  The Series soon will begin its fourth season on Global Television in Canada.

He definitely was a hit especially with Ricki Lake, whom also appeared at the Event, stating "LL Cool J just hugged me backstage and that is better than 50 Shades of Grey.".  The dapper-dressed New York Native spent a fair amount of time mingling with Guests at Elgin Theatre, before finally stepping outside to greet Fans.  Genuinely a great Guy!

RICKI LAKE UNVEILS "THE RICKI LAKE SHOW" IN TORONTO FOR SHAW UPFRONTS

Those of us who grew-up in the '90s will remember Hairspray Star Ricki Lake's much-talked-about Tabloid Talk Show, Ricki Lake. The Show rarely lacked that Heat Factor, covering several juicy topics as Family Dramas, Racism, Interracial and Same-Sex Relationships.

Since the Talk Show went off-air in 2004, Lake has become a Mother of two with many new insights to share, which we will be able to see on The Ricki Lake Show, which premieres this September on Global Television.  The Show was just unveiled at Shaw's Upfronts, which Lake flew into Toronto for, quickly heading back to Los Angeles for work afterwards.

Lake looked incredible, maintaining her post-Dancing with the Stars Figure, stopping for a quick Snap before heading-off to the Airport.

CARRIE UNDERWOOD IN TORONTO FOR "BLOWN AWAY"

Arriving Tuesday night from Nashville with Hockey Star Husband Mike Fisher, Country-Pop Queen Carrie Underwood arrived for the Canadian leg of her Promo Tour for latest Disc, Blown Away. The Album already has spent two weeks at number on the U.S. Billboard Hot 200 Album Chart.

Remaining low-key, opting for underground entrances and exits in and out of her Hotel, the former American Idol Season Four Winner in her two days in Toronto has appeared at most major Outlets, doing a number of pre-taped and live-to-air Interviews. Appearances have included visits to CTV's Canada AM, The Marilyn Denis Show and eTalk, YTV's The Zone, CBC's Q Radio, Global Television's Entertainment Tonight Canada, CHFI 98.1, CHUM 104.5 and more.

In addition to Work, Underwood has Quality Time with Family on her Agenda during her stay before her scheduled Performance on this weekend's Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. Last night, Husband Fisher was spotted enjoying the New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays Game at Rogers Centre, while the Singer spent a quiet night-in relaxing after a long day.

I caught-up with Underwood leaving the Bell Media Building earlier today buried two rows back in her Suburban, signing a few Autographs for Fans who waited all morning for her patiently. The frenzy was sparked as the window of her Vehicle was rolled down. "Can you take a Picture with a little Carrie Underwood Fan?", one Mom asked while urging her young Daughter forward - which wasn't happening. Unfortunately, I had no luck getting my copy of Some Hearts signed after Autographs got curtailed quickly with complaints of the situation becoming too aggressive on the part of others.

CONNIE CHUNG IN TORONTO FOR "UNIQUE LIVES & EXPERIENCES" SERIES

The remarkable Connie Chung made a rare visit to Toronto yesterday for the Unique Lives & Experiences Lecture Series at Roy Thomson Hall.  Gorgeous and articulate Chung is one of the World's most respected Journalists and I recall fondly admiring her as a Kid as one of the few Asian Faces on Network Television. Although she took time away from her celebrated Career to raise her Son, Matthew Jay, she expresses a bit of relief that she has stepped away from the News business  and appeared earlier today on Global Television's The Morning Show to reflect on her Accomplishments.

On the secret to her successful 27-year-old Marriage to Television Personality Maury Povich, Chung reveals jokingly, "Never do anything together!".  She says also, "I hate working with my Husband!", commenting on how easily writing comes to him with his vast knowledge of History, whereas she sees herself as the type who needs to research constantly versus recalling things from memory. She sees Povich as "The Textbook Bad Boy" and herself as "The Goodie-Goodie"; opposites attract indeed.

She also sees several flaws with how News is reported today with the rush to be first in this age of the Internet and Blogs, versus checking for accuracy. 

Despite the rainy weather today, Chung arrived ready in a Parka.  She was absolutely generous, taking Photos with many of the Staff at The Morning Show (who says Media can't have fun too?!) and even stopped for a quick Photo with me,  before getting ready to head back to New York City.  "Why, aren't you just absolutely sweet", she tells me.  *gush*

ANNA SILK IN TORONTO PROMOTING "LOST GIRL"

The stunning Anna Silk did the rounds this morning in support of the upcoming Season Finale of Toronto-filmed Lost Girl. The Showcase Series which combines Action and Suspense with Mythology, is a cult hit among Fans globally and along with Silk, Co-star Ksenia Solo whom many of you may recognize also from the Masterpiece known as Black Swan.

Both Silk and Solo made a quick visit to Global Television's The Morning Show today introducing Hosts Liza Fromer and Dave Gerry, who for some reason thought Lost Girl might have had some parallels to The Twilight Saga- which later the Girls clarified wasn't the case. They also gave away a cryptic clue that a Character - other than them - might be dying in the Season Finale. Silk also spoke about her experience working with George Clooney on Confessions of a Dangerous Mind earlier in his career, calling him "dreamy"!

Question what the two Actresses are working on next, they clarified that they are both extremely busy working on Lost Girl still currently.

Silk was extremely sweet to stop for a quick handshake and snap, appreciative of the support on her way to her Town Car. A real Sweetheart and one of Canada's most exciting talents!

The Season Finale of Lost Girl airs this Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 9:00 PM EST on Showcase. And no, this is not an April Fool's Joke!

ESTELLE HARRIS IN TORONTO

The brilliant and charismatic Estelle Harris made a rare visit to Toronto today and among her stop-offs this morning were visits to Global Television's The Morning Show and also CityTV's Breakfast Television. Braving the cold, the Actress/Comedienne best known for her work as Estelle Costanza on long-lived series Seinfeld, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and also voice work in Toy Story 2 & 3, was rushed in and out quickly, getting into her Escalate with the help of a Handler.

Harris was seen most recently on the NBC Series Are You There, Chelsea? based on Comedienne Chelsea Handler's Book of the same name.  The Series airs Wednesday nights at 9:00 PM EST on Global Television.

SHENAE GRIMES BACK IN TORONTO TO PROMOTE "90210" ON NETFLIX

Toronto's v. own Shenae Grimes is back in town from Los Angeles, ready to promote 90210, in which she stars as Annie Wilson. The fashion-conscious Actress made a quick stop-off at Global Television's The Morning Show to let us know that Seasons 1-4 of the Series are now available on Netflix.

Leaving the Studio, she was incredibly sweet and full of smiles, coming over to greet Fans and stop for Photos, laying down the line for Autograph Seekers in a Rat Pack-esque voice: "I'll only sign one, 'cause if you're gonna make-a-some money off these, then so should I!" Well-played.

Grimes' upcoming Film Sugar about a group of Homeless Kids surviving on the streets of Hollywood is her next endeavour and we're still waiting on a release date. While you're here, check out its Blog here.

'90s Teen Sensations Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence need no introduction for their work respectively on Sabrina The Teenage Witch and Blossom have left a deep imprint on a generation of Kids. The Duo are currently in Toronto promoting the second season of ABC Family Comedy Melissa & Joey, which premieres for the first time on the brand new network, ABC Spark in Canada March 28, 2012.  Currently, it is being previewed on CMT Canada Mondays at 8:30 PM EST.

Hart and Lawrence who by the way both still look great, did the rounds this morning in Toronto making stop-offs at KISS 92.5 and Global's The Morning Show and are slated also for an appearance on CTV's The Marilyn Denis Show too on Friday.

The Touch Xperiment

With one week to go until its Premiere on Global Television, I am one of 125 Canadians who have been asked to help kick-off a Social Experiment launching a new Series named Touch starring Kiefer Sutherland.

The Drama explores hidden Human Connections through Science and Spirituality and sees Sutherland working to make a difference in people's lives due to Text Messages he receives on a lost Cell Phone. To celebrate and demonstrate the power of Individuals and how they can touch the lives of Others, the Experiment will be launching tomorrow.

There are three simple steps to the Experiment:

• Take a picture of a Person, Place or Thing that has touched your Life (big or small)

• Text the photo to Global (it will be uploaded to a Photo Gallery on GlobalTV.com)

• Pass it on to Someone – be it a Friend, Family Member, or Stranger on the street – and ask them to do the same

JASON SEGEL & THE MUPPETS ON "SNL"

So brilliant! Jason Segel hosted NBC's Saturday Night Live last night and he was superb as always. Watch this adorable Song and Monologue he did with the help of The Muppets, who are none to pleased that he is getting all the attention with his hosting gig.

If you're in Canada, you can watch the Introduction and various Skits from last night here.  You can't miss Paul Rudd's surprise entrance and full-on smooch with Segel in honour of U.S. Thanksgiving.  It's quite something!

I just saw The Muppets again yesterday for a second time and loved it just as much as the first time. Review to be posted Wednesday. Walt Disney Motion Pictures releases Wednesday, November 23, 2011.
