VIDEO PREMIERE: COLDPLAY - EVERY TEARDROP IS A WATERFALL

Still from Every Teardrop is a Waterfall
I'm definitely loving this era of Coldplay after having been in the doldrums for a bit for their last couple Discs. The Band released this new Video for latest Single Every Teardrop is a Waterfall this morning, a four-minute long splash of Technicolour and stop-motion fun. And it doesn't hurt that Chris Martin has lost the messy Mop which - let's all be honest - wasn't working for him.

Coldplay's fifth Disc tentatively is slated for later this year.  The Single already has peaked at number 14 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

NEW MUSIC: COLDPLAY - EVERY TEARDROP IS A WATERFALL

I admit that some of Coldplay's recent material didn't strike a chord with me, but this new Single Every Teardrop is a Waterfall fully redeems them in my books. And believe me, I loved their first two Discs Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head, v. much.

Just released earlier today digitally on iTunes, the Track is heavier rhythmically and a bit more Synth-heavy than what we're accustomed to from them. I'm in favour of this latest evolution for the Band. Can't wait to hear more from this upcoming fifth Album.

VIDEO PREMIERE: COLDPLAY - CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Beautiful. Although I am a huge Fan of Coldplay's first two albums Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head, something hasn't been there on their last two efforts XY and Viva La Vida, for me.

This new sweeping Christmas tune Christmas Lights is a reminder why Coldplay is at their best with simple Production and a nice Melody. It's tender and just wonderful. The track is now available on iTunes.
