JLS RELEASE DEBUT EP IN NORTH AMERICA AND PERFORM IN TORONTO AT Z103 SUMMER RUSH

Yay! My boys JLS, the hottest bands in the UK, are releasing their debut selt-titled stateside EP today via Sony Music. After 1.2 million albums sold in their native land, their sights are now set on conquering the hearts of the Boy Crazy on this side of the Atlantic.

JLS who got their start on star-making competition X Factor in the UK, consist of members Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Jonathan "JB" Gill and Oritsé Williams.  Just like a delicious box of Chocolate Truffles need a legend to identify their goodness, let me help you out here in helping you get to know them.  In the photo here from left to right are: JB, Marvin, Mr. Will-W., Oritsé and Aston.

For those of you around Toronto, the boys will be at Z103's Summer Rush this coming Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Canada's WonderlandClick here for details.

Enjoy these photos of the boys I'm posting for the first time below:

What do you think?  Do the boys have what it takes to break into North America?

PEREZ HILTON'S ONE NIGHT IN TORONTO MMVAs AFTERPARTY

Not only does he have the most fantastically entertaining blog in the world, but Perez Hilton sure knows how to throw a Party!  I am extremely honoured to have been invited by The Queen of All Media to his wonderful One Night in Toronto MMVAs Afterparty at the historic Opera House this evening where I ran into a reader or two of my own!  The venue was filled with guests and even going back to the Media-Only room I had to be held in waiting due to exceeded capacity.

Arriving on-stage at 10 minutes to 12 with a silver-tinted Coif, guests were treated to surprise apperances by Snooki and Pauly D from MTV's Jersey Shore.  Both reality television stars had other obligations this evening but thoughtfully came by to say "hi" quickly before Perezcious Music Toronto artist Darelle London did an acoustic set for the audience who had just been pumped-up by a couple hours' worth of Electro . Perhaps not the best fit in terms of music for the night.  London though, is talented and was able to maintain the interest of the audience on the floor.

Although Perez was busy most of the night between hosting the party and filming footage for a Documentary in which a Camera Crew had arrived for, guests were very happy to see Katy Perry make an appearance, causing a Thundershower of camera flashes.  Perry came on stage to premiere a new remix of her fantastic track Peacock done by her best friend and one of the evening's DJs, Mia Moretti.   Moretti's set was accompained by a fantastic Rock 'n' Roll Violinist Caitlin Moe.
