HANSON IN TORONTO FOR "SHOUT IT OUT WORLD TOUR"

L to R: Isaac, Taylor and Zac Hanson & Mr. Will-W.
They've sold over 16 million albums worldwide and have been nominated for three GRAMMY Awards, but where have Hanson been?  The Trio of Brothers from Oklahoma first rose to meteoric prominence at a young age in 1997 with their major label Debut, Middle of Nowhere from Mercury Records.  You would hard-pressed to find anyone who can't remember their massive hit, mmmbop even to this day.

Due to some corporate changes resulting in a merger with Island Def Jam, the Band got caught in the shuffle, resulting in creative differences and a lack of support.  In 2003, Hanson launched their own Label, 3CG Records and since then have been releasing their Music independently.  Although their success these days is far more modest than before, they still are doing it well.  Their latest Disc Shout it Out landed in the Top 30 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 200 Chart, peaking at number 15 on the U.S. Billboard Digital Albums Chart.  They still are pulling-in strong reviews across the board and selling-out theatres with their Shout it Out World Tour and although they aren't really that much older than them, they have influenced a new generation of Pop Stars.  Katy Perry even paid her respects to the Trio - all whom are Fathers now - in her Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F) Music Video.

Hanson decided to drop-by for a quick appearance on CityTV's Breakfast Television with Dina Pugliese this morning in advance of their Concert tonight at The Phoenix Concert Hall.  The great-looking Band performed a couple tracks and watched in awe as a Sommelier use a sabre to de-cork a bottle of Champagne and nibbled on some rack of Lamb, prepared live on air.   Parking their Tour Bus right up against the Studio, they were super-friendly as expected, to stop and pose for a quick Photo after their appearance.  "Wow! Nice jacket!", Isaac said to my dog Billy.
