How awesome is this? International Megastar Ricky Martin just wrapped his first day on the set of Glee and Tweeted the above Photo. The Singer is filming a Spanglish-themed episode which also will feature Gloria Estefan. The role of Spanish Teacher seems to be a recurring hotspot for Celebrities with Gwyneth Paltrow previously playing the role of Holly Holliday on the Series.
The Cast of the Show also got a little starstruck with Lea Michele Tweeting a Photo together with Martin, praising "He's seriously the sweetest and such a great fit for our show!". Michele has known Martin since she was eight years-old when they were both in Les Miserables together.
Cory Monteith took to Twitter expressing his excitement, "We have a new Spanish Teacher".
Naya Rivera was excited to work with Martin, Tweeting earlier, "Today is going to be so fun! Ricky Martin is at WMHS!!! #Lavidaloca".
Matthew Morrison Tweeted "Ricky Martin's first day on set today! What a great guy, having a lot of fun shooting our scenes together".
Kevin McHale also expressed some excitement, Tweeting "Yes, It's true. It's really @ricky_martin!! We gots a new Spanish teacher!!".
Darren Criss of course didn't have an opinion on the matter as he is on Broadway right now, just taking over Daniel Radcliffe's role in How to Succeed in Business Without Trying.
The Ricky Martin episode of Glee will air late January 2012 and he will be performing two numbers!
