Vogue Japan Editor at Large and self-proclaimed Fashion Collector/Maniac Anna Dello Russo made a rare visit to Toronto Tuesday afternoon. Officially a part of this year's Scotiabank Contact Photography Festival, Toronto Fashion Photoblogger Tommy Ton's When Tommy Met Anna Exhibit at The Bay - Queen Street's The Room, is one of the more high-profiled this year. Some of you might know Ton from his widely-read Blog, Jak & Jil?

Known as the "Lady Gaga of Fashion Week", Milan's Dello Russo has come to be defined by her unique and quirky sense of style. More recently she has been noted for incorporating fruits among other edibles into her look. She tells Marilyn Denis this morning on her CTV Television Show, "You should not be afraid to look like a Clown", donning a pink 1950s-inspired frock by Giles Deacon.

Dello Russo has acted as a Muse to Ton, helping place him on the map for his keen eye and obsession for Fashion over the past few years. His Photographs perhaps have boosted her profile with Internet-savvy Fashionistas likewise too. Like Ton, I don't Blog for Money - I Blog for Passion and his knowledge and dedication have made his Blog a hit internationally in the Fashion Circle. Regardless who helped who more, Ton and Dello Russo's winning Friendship continues to whet and feed the appetites of the Couture-hungry worldwide.

In addition to a three hour-long Gala celebrating the launch of the Exhibit last night, Dello Russo took some time to meet Fans today along with Ton. Signing Autographs and posing with Fans for Photos, she gifted those in attendance with paper Barbie Dolls of herself which included an array of her favourite Outfits.

Truly a Lady, she got up out of her Chair for each and every Fan who wanted to take a Photo with her before seating herself again on repeat in what surely would soon became a nuisance. And I am thrilled to have properly met Dello Russo, fawning over her while a humble Ton sat patiently in his Chair smiling as his Muse shined bright.

Truly defining "fashionably late", Dello Russo needed a bit more time to get into today's Mary Katrantzou number, finished with a Headpiece donning The Bay's signature stripes. Organizers accommodated Fans with an allotted extra half-hour, although her Handler had to ensure she caught her flight out, ending the Meet & Greet approximately 12:10 PM.
