Finally, a meaty role for Antonio Banderas! The Spanish Hunk has been cast as Painter/Sculptor Pablo Picasso in an upcoming Biopic about him titled 33 Dias. The Film will center on the Artist's emotional struggles completing his Masterpiece, Guernica, after seeing the town of Guernica destroyed during the Spanish Civil War in 1937.
Carlos Saura will be directing the French and Spanish-language Film. Everything about this says TIFF 2013 about it, wouldn't you say?
