Lady Gaga visits Google - March 23, 2011

Lady Gaga visited the offices of Google earlier this week and chatted with creatively-clad Employees, while answering Fan Video Questions. The 71 minute Video is an absolute must-watch for any Monster. She touches upon everything from being bullied as a Child to the death of her Grandfather, to tracks off her new album.  Although I meant to watch it sooner, finally I had a bit of time earlier to give it my undivided attention.

One statement I found quite compelling from Gaga is where she states, "In my opinion all good music can be played on a Piano and sound like a hit.". I couldn't agree more. Gaga explains that we can expect "Avant-Garde Techno Rock" on new Disc Born this Way, with "Def Lepard-like melodies".  Cannot wait!  May 23, 2011.

GOOGLE POKES FUN AT TWITTER AND FACEBOOK

Too funny.  One of my readers Chris pointed out to me today that Google somehow has programmed a bit of humour into their searches for social networking tools Facebook and Twitter.  And the results are so true it hurts.... and of course, there is Humour in Truth.  Look here:

Told ya so.  It's all about the outfits.  The New Orleans Saints defeated the Indianapolis Colts 31-17 at  Super Bowl 2010.  Sorry, John. 

Watch this touching Google commercial titled Parisian Love, which premiered during the game.  It is about an American who finds love in Paris.  The story is told through a series of Google searches. But really, let's be honest - it's all about the scoring. Movies are not movies without the music. Although not necessarily relevant to theme of the night - Football - love is indeed in the air with that day being just a week away.  It works for me.
