SEND OVER YOUR QUESTIONS TO THE CAST OF "PROM"

Still from Disney's PROM
Great news!  I am excited to announce that Mr. Will-W.:Pop Maven has scored an exclusive interview with the Cast of upcoming Disney Feature, Prom (not to be confused with Tron).

Prom centers around a group of High School Couples as they transition from their lives as Teenagers to Independence.  The Film criss-crosses these Couples' stories, each with their own unique twists, culminating in that one big night we all anticipate most in our Youth.

I will be interviewing Cast members Aimee Teegarden (Friday Night Lights), Thomas McDonell (The Forbidden Kingdom) and Jonathan Keltz (Entourage). I'd love to include my Readers in on the fun, so don't be shy and send over those questions.

Watch the Trailer for Disney's Prom below:

ADRIAN GRENIER AT TEENAGE PAPARAZZO PREMIERE IN TORONTO

New York native Adrian Grenier is best known for his turn as Vincent Chase on HBO's hit series Entourage.  Many will remember him as Anne Hathaway's boyfriend in critically acclaimed The Devil Wears Prada.   Many of us don't know though that Grenier is also a Director and that his Teenage Paparazzo was very well-received at Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.

The Documentary centers around the theme of Celebrity Obsession in youth, following the story of then-13 year-old Paparazzo Austin Visschedyk, who has photographed everyone from Paris Hilton to Adam Sandler.  Grenier discovered Visschedyk trying to snap his photo and became fascinated by his story, then following him around at work.

Grenier unleashed his project at Isabel Bader Theatre in Toronto tonight, preceded by Appetizers and Cocktails and followed by a Q&A session at $30 a head - not bad for a chance to meet and greet the star.  Sporting a fresh Coif, Grenier stood in the Foyer of the theatre after the show, as audience members lined-up for their Photo Ops.  I was spotted even by a couple Mr. Will-W.:Pop Maven readers just standing around (Hi, Chris and Dave!).

Teenage Paparazzo will released via Mongrel Media in Canada and opens on August 27, 2010.

Look this weekend for a review of the film here.  But in the meantime, check out these Candids I got of  Grenier, who really needed that Stella after a long day of Press:

TEENAGE PAPARAZZO - A SNAPSHOT OF CELEBRITY OBSESSION

After creating quite a splash on the Festival circuit, Entourage's Adrian Grenier is ready to unleash his documentary Teenage Paparazzo in theatres.  The film centers around a then-13 year-old boy named Austin Visschedyk, whom Grenier discovered trying to snap his photo once.  Fascinated by his story, Grenier decided to make a Documentary about him and through a wider lens, a study on the fixation of Celebrity and Fame in youth.   Visschedyk has taken and sold photos of the likes of Paris Hilton, Audrina Partridge, Lindsay Lohan, Adam Sandler and many more.

Teenage Paparazzo will be distributed in Canada though Mongrel Media and is actually one I've been keeping my eye on for a while.  Visit its Canadian website hereGrenier will be visiting Toronto late August to promote the film, which opens August 27, 2010 in Toronto and Vancouver.

ENTOURAGE'S KEVIN DILLON SPOTTED IN YORKVILLE

Traveling with his own "Entourage" tonight, Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Kevin Dillon was seen heading west on Yorkville Ave. past The Hazelton after a guys' night out with three good friends.  Dressed casually in an outfit you'd see him wear on Television, I flagged him down and he came over to personalize a photo for me and pose for a photo (seen to the left) with one lucky fan and Mr. Will-W.:Pop Maven reader, Wenke!

As reported yesterday, Dillon is in town for the RBC Canadian Open's Mike Weir Charity Classic which pitted him against the likes of Samuel L. Jackson and Love is a Highway singer Tom Cochrane.

And when I asked him how he did today, he told me the match went well, which led him to ask me, "How in the world did you know I'd be here?" to which I replied, "Buddy, I read the news!  It's splashed all over the papers.... but this was a total fluke!" as I quite literally was walking Billy. Satisfied with my answer, he then got behind me, pressed the photo against my back and personalized my 5x7 on my back, before jokingly blaming me for making him lose his friends.  Dillon then ran off in a hurry....

Here's the famous back-signed photo of the strapping actor, below:

FACEBOOK DOPPELGÄNGER WEEK

In the spirit of Doppelgänger Week on Facebook, I have chosen actor Rex Lee as my celebrity look-a-like. I never had any Asian male actor role models to look up to as a child, because everybody in Hollywood was either white or black, pretty much. I had no inclinations to learn Martial Arts, so I didn’t identify with Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee or Chow Yun Fat so I felt like a big letdown when kids would ask me to bust-out some Kung-Fu and I didn’t know Tae Kwon Do from Jiu Jitsu.

Then Lee got cast in the role of Lloyd on HBO’s Entourage and I’d go to parties and people would start calling me "Lloyd" or ask me, “OMG. You know that show Entourage....??”. Or friends would go, “They should’ve cast you as Lloyd, you’d be so much better at the role than he is!” and then I thought, is it possible that there is really someone I can identify with in Hollywood? At last??! Even comedian Russell Peters at a party I went to last November couldn’t resist the temptation of calling me “Lloyd” the whole night.

I’ll be honest – I’ve never watched an episode of Entourage. But after scrolling through Lee's IMDB page and seeing some of his outstanding contributions to television, like his stunning turn as Choi on an episode of America’s Most Wanted or Asian Man on Andy Richter Controls the Universe, I must say that I am proud to finally have my very own Doppelgänger/Role Model. Someone to call my own.

So what do you think? Rex Lee? Mr. Will-W.? Alllooksame.com? :’)

Who's your Doppelgänger?
