Two-time Oscar Winner Gene Hackman was struck while cycling in Florida by a Pick-up Truck around 3:00 PM yesterday, thrown to the grassy shoulders of the road. Reportedly he was not wearing a helmet at the time. Hackman was airlifted to the hospital shortly after and fortunately, he escaped without serious injury. His Publicist reports that he is doing fine now after some routine checks. The 81-year-old Actor last was seen in 2004's Welcome to Mooseport.
